Hom Thai Food, Pasay City
I had a very disappointing experience at Hom Thai Food in Pasay City. Despite there being around 10 staff members present, none of them were doing much of anything. There was no greeting, no “hi” or “hello”—just indifference.
The most concerning issue was the hygiene. The same cashier who handles cash with bare hands also served our food—without washing her hands (the very same fingers that touched the cash and coins were the very same fingers inside my plate, touching my food!!). This is a major red flag for food safety and cleanliness.
When I asked for water, she nodded in acknowledgment, then sat back down to continue counting money, completely ignoring my request.
We were the ONLY sit-down customer at that time. Yet, service was very poor indeed.
This place shows poor service, questionable food handling practices, and a clear need for proper hygiene training. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets sick.
Terrible customer service. Abject lack of food safety handling. Never...

Nag stay kami sa Sea Residences last Toycon weekend since sobrang lapit at affordable niya compared sa mga hotels near the vicinity. Isa sa mga challenge kapag mag staycation ay kung ano ang kakainin ng tropa. Lo and behold, Hom Thai is located lang sa ground floor ng Sea Residences Tower B, open sila from 7am to 2am malaki din yung menu nila, they offer noodle dishes & rice meals.
Here are the dishes na we ordered for takeout at dine in
Bagoong Rice: Chicken & Beef. Sobrang dami ng servings, hindi tinipid sa lasa kahit yung rice & side dishes pwede na. Sobrang panalo ng marinate ng beef & chicken instant favorite ko kasi na miss ko kainin yung dish na to. Pro tip is mekus mekus mo yung kanin similar to bibimbowl tapos budburan ng chili oil at papaya salad. BHighly recommended either dine in or takeout, ang advantage lang ng dine in is may free soup & unli condiments. ₱ 270 - 290. 5⭐
Beef Bowl Combo A: Masarap din to, medyo bitin lang ako sa serving size kasi sanay tayo sa Large Pho Hoa pero sa quality ng taste di ka rin magsisi, we order this ng takeout. Naka separate yung soup kaya pwede mo reheat. Yung soup base niya yun yung free soup kapag dine in. Sakto sa tag ulan or gloomy weather. ₱280 3⭐
Veggie Pad Thai: One of the best pad thai I taste so far. Affordable din kasi for ₱170 good for share na. Hindi din tinipid sa sahog kaya value for money. 5⭐
Hom Latte: Description ni ate is Half/Half. Half thai tea & thai coffee best of both worlds ika nga. Okay na din siya just for the experience, taste is almost similar to mocha with earthy hint. 3⭐
Overall panalo yung experience namin sa Hom sadly 2 branches lang meron sila yung isa sa Makati ah and limited seating lang ang meron for indoor dito sa Sea Residences branch kaya...

This location lacks customer service and proper food handling knowledge.
We were the only customers in the restaurant. However, there were maybe 8 or 9 employees. It was chaotic.
The employee handling the money was also the employee serving the food. She didn't wash her hands after touching money and her fingers were inside the plate with food. Gross.
Customer service is also lacking. Other locations serve water once you sit down. However, not this location. You need to ask for it to be served.
The food was ok. It's not as flavorful as other locations...
