IMHO this restaurant is a worthy new addition to Metro Manila’s elite circle of high-end Chinese dining destinations. If you haven’t visited their newly renovated space and building yet, you’ll be pleasantly surprised—it’s shed its former gold and red gaudiness in favor of a tasteful, elevated look that’s now fit for classy gatherings.

However to truly match the caliber of top hotel restaurants, the service still needs fine-tuning. Despite the many staff members on the floor, it was surprisingly difficult to get anyone’s attention. That said, the team remained professional—diligently changing plates and neatly packing our leftovers for takeaway. Note also that they have an elegant ballroom on the second floor that can accommodate up to a whopping 800 guests.

The baked prawns with peppercorns were a delightful surprise—like a culinary plot twist I didn’t see coming. Nestled in a fragrant medley of black, white, and Szechuan peppercorns, the prawns soaked up all the bold, zesty flavor without the fiery bite. It’s a brilliant invention: all the pepper personality, none of the numbing drama.

Other excellent HK-quality dishes we ordered were: dimsum (siomai, hakaw, beef balls), black truffle noodles, sea cucumber and pork tendon in pot, nylon shell and tofu soup, fried spareribs with orange peel, dried scallop with egg white fried rice, Peking duck (2-ways), dessert (hot purple...

My quest in looking for the best ham siu kok continues. My aunt treated me and my cousin to this Chinese restaurant near S & R Aseana. Their dimsum was delicious! Came out piping hot and served straight to us. Servers were very attentive and answered our queries on menu items. This restaurant's ham siu kok version is airy and has little filling inside. The crunch though was amazing mouth feel! Their taro puff is so good while asado siopao has big chunks of meat in it. They also have other menu items which are staple for Chinese lauriat like noodles, roast duck, roast goose, various types of seafood like lobsters and abalone. Hope I can try out their other menu items in the future. To the hardworking staff, keep up...

Food and etc are Ok. However, I was super disappointed with dishonesty of security guard. We had dinner last night - 04 Oct 2023 - Table 7. My phone accidentally dropped when I get our. I realized was not with me. My friend called several times. Other friend came down and looked and asked security guard twice. Finally- I used find my iPhone via Apple and Locked the Phone and simultaneously located that the phone is still at resto compound. Called the resto around 21:30 pm. A lady answered. I informed and gave description. Called again and security answered the phone and said he found it. So I came and collected. He seems not surprised. He shouldn’t be in this position. Bad...

Golden Bay seafood restaurant is located in Pasay not far from the mall of Asia. It's a fairly large restaurant with several private dining rooms. Small dining rooms can sit 10 while the big one can sit 24. They have an area where you can choose live seafood. This area has crabs, shrimps, different types of fish and mollusks and crustaceans. The cooking style here is Chinese and they do it very well. The fresh seafood is cooked perfectly retaining the tenderness and moistness of the seafood and the flavours are mouth watering. The staff are friendly, helpful and very attentive.
