The church is right in the middle of the vast SM Mall of Asia commercial complex. It’s a welcome sight and it brings a good feeling to see that a prime commercial space is allotted to a place of worship. Below the church is a spacious formation center as well as a small room that houses Saint John Paul II artifacts. Just a few trivia about the shrine: > The name of the church was inspired by the message of then, Pope John Paul II during the World Youth Congress held in the country in 1995. > It is primarily intended to be a center for the young people and thus, is called Pope John II Youth Center. > The Shrine and Youth Center is a project of His Eminence Jaime Cardinal Sin, the Archbishop of Manila at that time. > Cardinal Sin had the cornerstone blessed by the Holy Father and is now enclosed in a glass at the center of the Altar table.

Long before the busy MOA complex we know of today, the Shrine of Jesus the Way the Truth and the Life has stood proudly for several decades. This year of 2019, they embarked on a renovation project thus bringing out more its majestic altar, high rise ceilings and 10 foot status of Jesus Christ as well as Mother Mary. An adoration chapel is tucked neatly in the left side of the Church for those who wish to take a moment of silence. Along this review I have also shared photos of the mass schedules and services, proper dress code as well as the rules we need to observe while in mass. This is truly a beautiful Church to celebrate our Catholic Faith along with family and loves ones. 🌟🙏🏻

Came here for cousin's wedding. The church is very close Mall of Asia (MOA). We went past the main MOA roundabout to get here. The church itself was simply decorated and very open. This is probably because it didn't have air conditioning so it was quite hot. The wedding guests had seating on the middle two rows while the outer rows were available to anyone who wanted to watch the wedding. This church seemed to be quite busy as there was a wedding before and after my cousins one. If you were wanting to see what a wedding in Philippines looks like then you can come by here and have a look.

15APR2022 9:52am It was the 6th Church for our Visita Iglesia 2022. The exterior as well as the interior is beautiful but the floor area is quite small compared to other Church. There's no parking. You need to go to nearby Arena Parking area for a P50 flat rate fee. On a regular Sunday Mass you can imagine how jam packed this place is, because it's near MOA, near IKEA, near NU, near MOA Arena, near Conrad Hotel and near the bay area amusement. We just quickly proceeded with our prayer and took off after 30mins for the 7th & last church.

A beautiful church. It used to be the only building in this area with the sea as the background. It add to a sense of peaceful solitude as you approach. But that was back then. It saddens me to see all the tall commercial buildings surrounding it. It gave me a suffocating feeling as I approach the church. But inside the sanctuary of the church, peace and calm has entered me and the distraction of the chaos outside receded. I’m happy that at least inside was preserved. It’s a shame that “weeds” has grown around it.

When you ventured in the main church.. It was a big wow.. Artistically crafted ceilings with colorful stain glass in every corner of the church.. Brass ornaments adorned the main altar..with intricately design and wood panelling too.. The solemnity of the mass tells a story too.. I feel i was blessed..
