Mesa - SM City East Ortigas — Restaurant in Pasig

First thing... I was so excited to eat here because it's my first time to eat at Mesa.. My husband recommended to eat here (but on a different branch). which i was too fascinate. But the lack of service is very unexpectable!! A waiter take our order we ask for the menu's portion.. but he keep asking to another waiter what portion they have.. my husband ask for the beverages the pasion fruit, threw his curiosity, but the waiter ask again to another waiter what is the Pasion fruit?? In my mind i was think that they didn't know there food what they serve

They serve our food but something like a mix up like our rice is garlic they gave us steam rice, its like a mix up situation

We order the garlic chicken for my son.. which he love (3 years old) we receive an hard chicken even my kid reject it.. It seems was cook like hours and reheat again it was so very hard and dry...

Visited their new location in SM East, and while it’s more updated than their previous spot, the mix of old, dirty / worn-out chairs with the new ambiance felt out of place. They should’ve invested in fresh seating to match the upgraded vibe.

We were craving Kare-Kare, so we ordered it—it was good and tender, but not as impressive anymore, especially with competitors offering a better version at the same price. Their Laing, however, remains the best.

The 1st review I left was before I spoke to the manager. I saw several bugs in there and brought it to their attention. The manager seemed adamant about getting the problem solved so that is very reassuring. He was very nice and the employees there are also very nice and hard working. The food tastes great. I tried it a week ago for the 1st time and I told my friends I have a new favorite restaurant so I was a little bummed about this trip.
