Number 1 BBQ - SM City East Ortigas — Restaurant in Pasig

This does not even deserve a star. Poor customer service!!! My girlfriend initially ordered 2 U.S. smoked beef, then I made her change the order to 1 smoked beef and 1 lechon belly. Me and my GF repeated the order to the cashier and she nodded. Order came, The cashier punched in all 3! I told the server, then the server told another server and then another. Smh. The manager finally stepped in and asked what happened. I told him that i ordered only 1 smoked beef and 1 lechon belly. Can we return the other smoked beef? He did not hesitate to say “No! Hindi na pwede sir!” And I said I made it clear with the cashier. He said “ni repeat order kayo diba?” I said “Hindi nag repeat order” manager said “SOP po namin ang mag repeat order”. I went to my GF and asked if the cashier repeated the order and she said no. But the manager insisted that the cahsier repeated the order. I was about to explode but i didn’t want to ruin my day entirely so I let go and said “cge hayaan mo na. Okay lang. Worst Service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS RESTAURANT ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE HUNGRY!

They forgot to prepare the order and none of the servers informed the counter that we were following up about the order.

I followed up my order twice. My companion had to wait for me and eat slowly but my order never arrived. I ended up wasting my time inside their restaurant. We gave the receipt to the waiter and told that we are going home. He went inside and the manager approached us telling he can refund us the money. He could have told us if they needed more time or apologize about their fault. We waited patiently for nothing? They forgot to prepare the order and no one informed the counter about the order follow up. Is this a valid excuse? The manager just acted like they don’t care, they can just refund us the money. I understand the self-service concept in your store; however, you served our food without saying anything or even confirming whether our orders were complete—which they were not.

We had to get the water, utensils, saucers, tissue, and, on top of that, remind your staff that we still had desserts. Not to mention, your counter staff were dressed in pambahay—not sure why.
