Cafe Mary Grace - SM City East Ortigas — Restaurant in Pasig

Bought cakes there 4 times. 3 times we had issues with the quality if the cakes. 1st cake was the bread pudding. It was not a bread pudding cake by any means. It was like a pound of cement. Other 2 cakes we had issues with were because of bad I gradients. The whopcream tasted quite off. Was clearly made with ingredients that have spoiled. Another time we ordered a cake with Carmel flavors. We also sent this cake back. The exterior whiocream icing smelled nad. Like old feet....was so nasty. Most likely the eggs were bad In this cake. Just my guess of course. But it was nasty. They took it back and said they need 48 hours to assess the issue with production..72 hours later we heard nothing. After complaining...literally after 930pm..we got our cake. 3 times the cakes tasted sour ir bad..only 1 time our cake was ok. We definitely won't buy from them again. Disgusting, over priced cakes. I'm very surprised with the quality...especially...

Always a fan of Cafe Mary Grace especially for a good hearty breakfast meal 🍳😋 This branch is located in the Ground Floor of SM City East and can be accessed from the Main Entrance across Starbucks.

Quaint, homey and comfortable- Cafe Mary Grace is as consistent as always when maintaining their overall ambience no matter what branch you find yourself in. Oh and make sure to prepare your Vaccination Card which is a requirement to dine in.

Favorite recommendations which I hope you’ll enjoy:

Sirloin Beef Tapa (perfect to choose the option of enjoying it with Rosemary Rice and their fluffy scrambled eggs) Bangus (generous serving and never cooked too oily) Mango Bene cake (layers of meringue, custard cream and fresh mangoes — I miss it already 😂)

Overall rating is a 4/5 mainly because of the high price point wherein ave cost per person is around P550-600 (without dessert or drinks).

As usual, the mellow vibe music playing and cozy shades and lighting. With this pandemic, they practice social distancing even when you're with your family or friends, sanitize the tables every after customer. They also offer pouches for your masks and serves pouched utensils for more guarantee of cleanliness.

They also now give you a check list of orders instead of them asking. This will lessen the contact and conversations and of course gives you time. Once ready, just ring the bell. Yes, now you know what does it feels to have a bell boy 😁..
