This resto would really satisfy your gastronomic experience. We visited this place, and although it's small, they have managed to arrange seatings to give way to the protocol arrangements. But not to worry, because they have seatings on the 2nd floor as well. The 1st visit, we took the longsilog and 3 pcs.Pancakes. Wow, really big servings. But tastes really good. Pancakes are not, " fluffy" however. But generous servings of butter and syrup compensates for it. The longganisa is not your typical elongated pcs. but were cut into pcs. assuring you that it's well cooked on the inside. And rice served are garlic infused or "sinangag" and plentiful which you can share if it would be too much.
On my 2nd, i tried their bangus ala pobre only...being conscious of my mid section..๐. But it still filled me up to the brim. I forgot to mention, that i always pair these with their premium coffee. I go for Americano with it's strong flavor & aroma. And they automatically give you milk as a creamer. Love it. And they have brown sugar to go with it.
Well, that's a "no negatives" on this diner. Parking is for 2 cars in front if you're lucky. In the afternoon, it's next to impossible. On the food, i wished that they would have smaller servings for the middle class and just enough for a good meal. It would all depend on the mgmt. So far, they have managed to survive the pandemic because of their prices, but quality meals. I just don't want to see food wasted when someone cannot finish their meals. It's just a personal...

I didn't like the breading which was way too hard and tought to chew, and it kinda bruised my mouth on the inside. Maybe the bruising is a skill issue.
My companion ordered the lasagna roll ups. The silly presentation kinda made me think that this was too gimick-y, but the serving size was really generous and all the components worked well together. The pasta sauce was delicious and the pasta itself was cooked al dente. It was nice.
We also got desert. He got the banofe, and I go the cheesecake. The banoffee was prettier, with a mountain of whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top. The banana underneath it all balanced the sweetness of the toppings. The cheesecake was just OK. I thought it was too sweet for my taste and the textures was a bit too dense.
The inside was well air-conditioned, with nice seating. It's colorful furniture and quirky floors make it kinda cutesy. My only complaint about the location was that when we first went inside, they was a slight pungent smell.... it seemed to be like a CR smell........ not helpful for trying to have...

I have been craving for my favorite dish in Banapple which was thier signature Hickory Country Ribs, which I always remember to be tendee and juicy. Having been on a trip earlier in the morning, I wanted to drink some iced Americano.
The serving was prompt for the coffee, but I did not expect that their Americano was sweetened, the staff should have at least told me that.
The Hickory Ribs is not the same as I remember from years back. The although portion sizs similar, the tenderness of the meat is nonexistent and the rice is dry.
I spoke to the manager and they had a similar complaint from other customers, saying it's the fault of their commissary. They have willingly replaced my order with the chicken parmesian instead.
Upon receiving the chicken, if tasted almost just the same, of course they had to sacrifice a bit on the quality of the chicken.
Im satisfied by the service as they replaced my meal, but the quality from 10 years ago...
