I previously gave a high rating to Red Hana because of affordability.
Not sure if it's because of Covid, or if I've gotten used to the food, but I've now become disappointed with servings and increased price.
Take Mixed Sushi for example, at Php280. I posted picture here. Most of it is immitation crab and egg. Two pieces salmon, one piece of the other thingy...not worth it.
Let's admit it, in this restaurant, it's not all about authenticity or excellent food(is that ramen or instant noodles?) but more of affordability... Now that they've gone premium in price only, and didn't make up for servings or quality, I no longer recommend this place. Their sushi/maki is at par with Puregold at twice the price.lol. Read moreThe ramen here is an overpriced mami that you can buy in a karyenderya for a much cheaper price, it would probably taste a lot better as well. My friends have been laughing about it, because it was that bad. No to mention that ingredients, the noodles are a good amount but they're soggy; the broth is like seawater; the beef is chewy like rubber.
Servers have a very careless attitude, like they don't pay enough attention to the customers and would have to be called several times before coming.
Interior is admittedly beautiful, but there are one too many smal cockroaches I've seen in the bathroom—that is close to their kitchen—...
Read moreThe place is so cramped that you could hardly move. You can even listen to the conversations of the people in the adjacent tables without exerting any effort. The dishes are cheap and their prices affordable. The gyudon is sweeter than usual as it may seem that the cook put in an extra teaspoon of sugar or two. The beef is tough and full of ligaments. The chicken ramen is virtually devoid of chicken meat and the naruto is sliced so thin you can hardly taste it.
Four years later, the beef ramen is still devoid of meat and full of unchewable shards of...
