Like they say... a burrito place closes but another one opens along the Banawe area. From the looks of it this place will be a crowd favorite. Parking slots available but personally I find it easier to just park in front of the store along the street. Easier to get in and out. Seating capacity is quite adequate. Choose a spot not directly in front of the AC. Service is good and staff is very polite. Table service available. Food is served around 15 to 20mins upon your order. Price points average around 300+ per order which seem a bit pricey. But once you see the serving size it's actually good for 2. The nacho potato chips is addictive. Burrito measures 6 inches long and 3 inches in diameter densely stuffed with meat. Meat cut in big chunks, could be done in smaller bits. Miscalculated and ordered a quesadilla which is also huge. Ended up biting more than I can chew. Sauce dips limited to hot sauce and cream. Yep there is no salsa. Craft Beer on the menu too as there will be a drinking section in the near future. On the downside this area is right smack in the deepest part of Araneta/Sto Domingo flood zone so do check the weather just in case. Thankfully there is a parking assistant but do park in well lighted area along the street. Overall this is the only Burrito place in the whole neighborhood where most foods are Chinese. A welcomed change indeed.

Price: Kare Kare Burrito (₱348), Tres Taco (₱390) Portion Size: Perfect for sharing—two of us split these dishes and left feeling full Taste: The Kare Kare Burrito was delicious - it contained crispy pork belly which was generously portioned and freshly cooked, complemented perfectly by the bagoong. If you're a fan of crispy pork belly, this one's a must-try. We did wait around 30 minutes, but the freshness made it worth it. The Tres Taco set (sisig, dinakdakan, and BBQ) was also delicious, with each taco packed with flavor. The sauces were on point, and like the burrito, everything was made fresh, which likely contributed to the wait time. Parking: Plenty of space available. Ambiance: Spacious with lots of seating—a great spot for casual dining and hanging out. Overall: While the service was a bit slow (understandable since they're still on a dry run), the food was worth it. We'll definitely be back!

This is a Mexican restaurant that's tucked on Calamba street not far from Araneta Avenue. It's a pleasant addition to the restaurants in the area though I have to say that this restaurant is a little bit off the beaten path. Food is ok. Don't come here looking for authentic Mexican food as their food here is already a fusion so it's like Fil-Mex cuisine. Expect things to be a little on the sweet side. Staff are friendly and accommodating. My food took a long time to come out so the manager gave me a serving of really crispy fries. A sign says they're still on a dry run so hopefully they'll get better in the near future. There are toilets here though it's a shared toilet for men and women. There's parking that's good for 6 in the driveway and 2 in front. If you can't fit, then there's street parking.

TL;DR Overall, a disappointing experience mainly because of the SALTY FOOD.  Will not be coming back nor ordering again.

Nacho Potato Crisps A disappointing surprise. This appetizer HAS NO NACHO CHIPS!!! It's just potato chips with a pathetic amount of pico de gallo on top.  The cheese sauce is kinda thin tasting.  The standout are the potato chips.  They are thin and fried perfectly.  But again, I did not expect potato chips and was not enough to get over my disappointment. Coupled with the anemic amount of toppings, not worth it.

Chicken Quesadilla The chicken was VERY SALTY. The quesadilla wrap itself and the white garlic sauce were ok.  Did not enjoy due to the saltiness.

Peri-Peri Chicken Chicken Rice Toppings Again, VERY SALTY!!!! It's more the rice and how they seasoned it.  It's so salty that it becomes spicy.  Approaching inedible territory.  This has been the complaint in Google Map reviews, I wonder why they still haven't adjusted their recipe.

Service Very helpful servers. Pleasant to talk to.

Venue Nice spacious design with an open kitchen. Air-conditioned dining area.

Parking limited driveway parking.  Expect to double park and be called to move your car.  The  alternative is to park along the street...but this is the Banawe area, and the street (Calamba St.) is very poorly lit.  They have one guard overseeing the parking situation, but I doubt he could keep watch over each of the vehicles parked along the street.  Do so at...

This was our 2nd time dining at Buen Comer. VERY POOR SERVICE! FOOD NOT EVEN WORTH THE WAIT AND WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

The 1st experience was so-so - service was poor and food was so-so. We thought maybe because it was their soft opening. We only came back because my son liked their Kare-Kare burrito (maybe because it was new to his palate).

When we arrived, we had to wait to be handed the menu. The place was not packed (only 6 tables were occupied). We placed our orders. Then another family came after. We wondered, how come their order was served first before ours. We ordered 2 types of burrito and 1 "CHICKEN" quesadilla. Eventually, my son's kare kare burrito came, but we are still missing 2 orders. I came up the counter to ask and it is only then that they made our remaining order.

They served my quesadilla - it tastes different - no chicken! So, I asked the server what type of quesadilla it was and he said was cheesy quesadilla. BUT IT DOES NOT EVEN TASTE ANYTHING LIKE CHEESE. Its like, they placed an extender of the burrito on the quesadilla!

Finally, our 3rd order came - Mac and Cheese burrito with chicken - it was far from what we expected. We cannot taste the macaroni and definitely not the CHEESE!. The chicken in it was the kind of chicken that taste like the leftover roast chicken from the night before.

We got the bill without even finishing half of the last burrito. We paid and promised - we are definitely NOT...
