I would like to share my experience today at your store regarding one of your baristas. Unfortunately, the interaction with her left me feeling unwelcome.
I decided to take out my hot chocolate drink since I received a call that needs my urgent attention, and the barista who approached me made me feel that she seemed displeased with my request. I completely understand that your store follows a self-service if I want to take out my drink, but the way she approached me made me feel as though it was my fault for asking. Somehow I felt a little attitude there and lack of warmth during the interaction and I feel ashamed. Thankfully, the guy barista helped me with the takeout bag since she just gave me a paper cup with lid.
I work in customer service myself, so I know how challenging it can be to stay positive throughout the day, but a simple smile or a kind word can make a big difference to your customers. Sadly, I left the store feeling upset, which is not what I would expect from Starbucks (except our experience in SM Baguio). I go to your other stores and even though they have a lot of customers, you will still feel welcomed.

Read moreThankful to Mia for attending to my concern. I passed by this store to buy my usual coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, the barista handed me the wrong sandwich. So I called to inform them of the incident, and was assisted by Mia, Manager. I explained what happened and she quickly informed me that she would have the right sandwich delivered to my residence. I declined and said I can pick it up tomorrow or any other day, but she persistently volunteered to have it done immediately.
She sent me not only the sandwich but a drink as well.

When i tasted my drink, I felt the temperature wasn't hot enough and went to ask one of the baristas if they can warm it for me.
