We chose to dine at Giligan's Wilcon City Center because I was specifically craving their Inihaw na Liempo. One of the staff members took our order without writing it down or repeating it back to us. He also wasn’t wearing an apron, so I assumed he might be a senior crew member and trusted that he would remember our simple order of two meals.
However, when the food was served by a different crew member, what arrived was Lechon Kawali—not what we ordered. We mentioned the mistake, but instead of addressing it directly, we overheard the crew that took our order shouting to his colleague “Lechon Kawali iyon,”.
To avoid any unnecessary disagreement, we decided to accept the food and just proceed with the meal. Unfortunately, the disappointing service did not end there. When we went to settle the bill using a BDO Visa card, the same staff member who took our order assisted us. He casually remarked to my husband, “Sir, baka walang laman iyan,”—a comment that was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
Is this how your staff are trained to treat customers? Or has this particular crew member developed an inflated sense of authority?
Giligan’s has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering ever returning. I hope no other customer has to go through...

Cleanliness - foul smell near the comfort room. Upon entering the store amoy kaagad, observed small cockroaches in our table, observed how the staff washed your drinking cups
Product knowledge - we asked the staff kung ano ang difference ng gram ng sisig sa abot kaya meal and super abot kaya meal. Ang sagot lang samin, basta mas marami yung serving sa abot kaya meal. Supposed to be, bago madeploy ang staff dapat may knowledge siya product ninyo.
Service - mas naunang iserve ang food namin kesa sa drinks. Wala pang kasamang utensils upon serving the food. Yung free sabaw, hindi din nabigay. Ang sabi nung isang staff, pinapakuluan pa daw. Then nagfollow up kami sa isa pang staff, nagpunta sa kitchen ang sabi, wala na daw. Sana ininform na kami habang nag oorder na hindi na pala available yung sabaw. Dapat ininform na muna ang customers regarding sa mga OS items/product ninyo. And nakasimangot pa mga staff niyo.
