I had lunch alone at this restaurant around 1pm on a weekend. There was plenty of parking available, even though it was a busy time. The chicken was decent (7.5/10), nothing extraordinary but satisfying if you're craving Bacolod-style inasal. The chicken was a bit dry, but the atchara and anato oil took their inasal to the next level, especially when paired with their hot plain white rice. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fully enjoy my meal because the restaurant was filled with a group of rowdy, drunk men who repeatedly asked for my name and phone number. I felt uncomfortable and tbh, unsafe, and while the staff was apologetic the entire time, it wasn't enough to make me stay. The atmosphere isn't ideal for families or solo diners, especially women, as it seems to attract a crowd more interested in drinking than dining. If you're looking for a place to have afternoon beers with friends, this could be a good option. However, if you're seeking a kid-friendly food place or a safe space for solo dining, I would recommend looking elsewhere. A friendly tip: it might be a good idea to hire some security or train your staff to handle rowdy customers. This way, everyone can enjoy their meal, not just the drinking crowd.

Im wondering why the serving of the “to go orders” are different when you dine in! It’s just yesterday we were served with the same Liempo with rice ( not to mention that the liempo was not even hot ) while waiting for 15 minutes 😒 today i ordered the same liempo with rice but the liempo was not even sliced completely ( different from the chopped not warm we were served before ) plus the Laing ( my favorite! ) check the photo i ordered today almost like the size of my fist! While yesterday when i ordered the adobong kangkong it was completely in a good serving plate! I just live nearby the area and was very disappointed since it was my 2nd time there. Although the service was good but let me know whats wrong with the servings of the take aways and dine in ( we pay the same anyways plus you even charge for the take away containers! )

Still pretty good food, no complaints tastewise except the kansi was too salty which u balanced the whole thing. You're not entitled to soup refill though even if you buy a whole kansi, which at close to 400php doesn't seem reasonable. Manam, and all the other filipino restos, will offer at least one free soup refill. With JTs you pay for a small bowl that doesn't even fill the serving bowl halfway. The brand has gotten too big for its britches. Prices raised significantly across the board with nary any added value or improvement in their food. When your prices are within striking distance of your more upscale competitors, it doesn't make sense to retain your carinderia equipment. The bowls and plates we were served were cracked to the level of unhygienic, probably still the same set they used in the late 90s.

One of my favourite restaurants in the country.

Breakdown:

🍖Food: (based on what I usually order)

Paa & Pecho - 10/10. Perfecly cooked. Tastes extremely gorgeous.

Kaldo broth - 10/10. Godly taste. Perfect temperature when served.

Apan-apan - 10/10. Perfect balance of flavors.

Garlic rice - 9/10. It's not a garlic rice when you only put garlic bits and flakes on top of it. But it tastes good.

🧱Place:

Place is spacious. Very rare to be on waitlist when the place is packed usually in dinner time. Place is vibrant and well-lit. Place has indoor and outdoor dining.

🙋‍♂️Service:

Food serving time takes quite long when packed. Staff is very accommodating and attentive. Shows mastery of taking orders.

Few remarks:

Place is NOT parking friendly at peak hours.

Returning customer? : I've been a regular over the past few years. Of...
