Went here three times. Two were for farewell parties. One is just with friends.
The last time I dined here was last Tuesday.Everything was smooth -- food, service, atmosphere. Granted, there were only about 2-3 tables being served at that time as it was a weekday. They still were alert and ready to serve the customers.
We tried the Charsui Platter as shown in the picture. Meat was tender and well seasoned. It brought me back to some restaurants I've tried in China. I think this is as authentic as you can get for its price. We also tried shrimp dumplings. It's juicy! There was a slight delay in that order, but the rest were served quite fast, even for a slow day.
Another thing I liked about this restaurant is despite the large number of customers during my first 2 visits, the quality of food was consistent.
It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Wish I had left a tip despite the service charge, but I had no cash left. 😢 So this 5-star review will have to do for now.
Will be back with the fam...

The food is great, a mix of the familiar with a hint of the unusual, but all very tasty. If you're on a fast food budget, you'll definitely find it expensive, but prices are reasonable for its level. And you do get what you pay for. Service is attentive and courteous, and the ambience is warm and subdued. Definitely to be...

About the food — Every dish I sampled felt like money well spent. The flavors, reminiscent of Singaporean cooking, hit the mark. There's a real dedication to quality ingredients that's evident in every bite. Special shoutout to the jumbo shrimp siomai, a true showstopper. The chicken dishes, boasting savory and rich flavors, proved the kitchen knows its game.
Considering it's a food court joint, the food alone makes Thomas Road a must-visit. With such a delightful culinary experience, there's no doubt I'll keep making...
