Tropical Hut Hamburger - MDC100 — Restaurant in Quezon City

I've been craving for burgers now. So I ordered one here on their newly renovated store.

I ordered the double burger with large fries and root beer for 300 pesos.

The burger was served hot and juicy. It was very flavorful, although it was really messy to eat. Years ago, I remember that they are serving burgers on an aluminum foil. Now, they are serving it on a plate, which is fine.

The fries were great. Rightly salted and cooked fine.

Service was great. They will offer you to have ketchup and mustard with your meal. Although, it needs to have more napkin given that their burgers are juicy. The juice oozes out every bite.

Their new location was clean, wide, and spacious with lots of chairs. Looks modern too. I hope more people will visit this place. For now, they are frequently visited by the elderly and foreigners, Chinese and Korean to be exact.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the burgers of Tropical Hut are better than Jollibee, McDonald's,...

My usual go to place for breakfast and I especially love their omelette. Their ham and cheese sandwich is also recommended as it's generously filled in with veggies and ham. Their brewed coffee could be improved as it's lacking that coffee boost you need in the morning. Overall, still giving 5 stars for this store because of the great customer service especially to the front staff/cashier. Ate is always friendly and accomodates all requests and also proactive. Place is clean and food items are always freshly prepared or cooked.

Update: as of September 2024, Tropical Hut MDC 100 has now moved downstairs and they are now visible so more people from the outside are coming in. The new space is huge and cozy. Everything...

The cashier named Adelpha needs more customer service training. Very bad attitude. She looked pissed after not being able to give a smaller bill. She asked if I have a 20 peso bill so she can give me 100 change and when I said I have none, her look and actions looked very annoyed and gave me 16pcs 5 peso coins (80 pesos) as change without even asking if its okay. I can handle the coins and it doesnt matter anyway but your attitude??? Do you even train your crews?? Same with the managers, they don't know how to show themselves and handle complaints or even show up to apologize for any inconvenience. Very...
