Susie's used to have a branch in SM Megacenter in Nueva Ecija, and we frequent it for their pancit palabok and puto. This is why we ate here when we were in San Fernando, Pampanga over the weekend. The palabok and puto are still delicious although the serving portion for the palabok has become smaller.
I ordered pancit palabok. My husband ordered dinuguan with rice. One of my kids ordered baked lasagna, while the other ordered baked macaroni. The baked pastas are okay, cheesy but not very tasty. It could be better.
We were surprised by the big chunks/slices of the meat in the dinuguan. It's bigger than a spoon, haha. It's not the typical small slices. My husband also didn't like it because it was too sour (too much vinegar I guess). So I had to give him my palabok while I ate his dinuguan. I am not from Pamapanga but will definitely go back there to eat my way thru each town because of this restaurant.
Mainly popular for it's kakanin, the meals here a must try! Simu't sarap lahat!! From the tibok tibok, spaghetti, sotanghon, halo halo -- everything is just delicious and memorable. And don't get me started on the siomai! That was love at first bite!!!!
The two branches we visited were both clean and unassuming - sort of like a canteen. But don't let the simple setup fool you - both were full when we went there. Staff was plenty so you won't feel ignored.
Definitely a 5 star...

Palabok is great, pancit bihon too but we love the siomai the most! :)
Baked mac is alright but it needs improvement. The delicacies are not that cheap and not that expensive. Great buy!
There's a few parking space but you can park for a while by the side of the road.
There are a few street kids asking for money outside the shop but they're not aggressive.
I bought my fave Uraroooo here for 90 pesos when it was 100+ in Tagaytay. But there is also a 120 here but of course I didn't choose that. Haha.
This place is...
