The French Baker — Restaurant in San Fernando

August 10, 2025. Arrived at the restaurant at 12:40PM. The lady that sat us on the table said that the waiting time for food was 10 to 20 minutes so she asked if that was ok. We responded sure we’ll wait. So we sat and waited. At around 1:00PM, I stood up to go the counter to place our order and the lady said no need to go there, she’ll go to the table to get our order. I observed the other customers and their orders were taken, some arrived later than us but they got their food first. Approx 1:39PM, the crew just walked around and did not take our order, they did not even look at us. At 1:45PM someone finally took our order but the woman was dismissive and did not repeat our order. At 2:15PM we still did not get our food. Someone approached us at 2:30PM and asked “what was our order again?” The first woman that took our order did not place it in the kitchen nor did she enter it in the POS kiosk. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband complained at 2:45PM, the OIC promised that they will serve our food within 5 minutes and she will take care of it. We got to eat our food at 3:20PM. There are plenty of options for bread and pastries, and the prices for the bread are quite affordable. However, the way the bread is displayed could use some improvement in terms of hygiene. I appreciate the idea of showcasing bread without packaging, but it's important to consider that hundreds of people pass by the shop daily. One time, I saw a lady touch a bread with her bare hands but then walk away without purchasing it. This isn't about being picky; it's about ensuring people's health. After all, they will be consuming it.

Worst restaurant ever. Unfortunately, the name « French » in the restaurant’s name French Baker doesn’t suit the quality of service of this restaurant. We ordered Fish and Chips ( worst i’ve ever tasted in my life), carbonara (horrible) a coca-cola and an iced tea. The drinks arrived after 3minutes after asking the hostess twice. They only had one cook. Which I think who works to only heat frozen food and not to cook fresh food. I think the management should train it’s employees.
