We've been coming here whenever we visit SM Santo Tomas. It's a nice alternative where grilled chicken is available instead of the fried variety.
It's always a filling experience, also since they serve a big amount of rice with the grilled chicken.
The staff are friendly and kind, and grants our little requests.
We always go back to their grilled chicken items and salad, which are always a sure hit. The others in the reviews are probably right based on their experiences, since when I also tried another dish that is not the grilled chicken, I could say it was a miss.
Whenever we come there's almost always only two to three tables occupied, the place is almost empty. I guess the typical serving time turns most people off, but we're not in a rush. We enjoy the waiting time talking with family.
The dips that come with the grilled chicken could also use some work; it's not the usual taste for dips. It works, I guess, but it's not for me.
So just as long as you try their grilled chicken, you're good. If you're looking for pasta or other type of food, you can opt to...
Read moreFood service takes longer than what is expected. We ordered 1 pasta dish, 2 chicken dishes, 1 dessert and 2 drinks, server said that food would be ready in about 10 to 15 minutes, but 25 minutes past before the pasta arrived. We waited another 10 minutes before the next course arrived, and another 10 minutes before the other course arrived. Drinks were not even ready until all the courses have been served. It would have been acceptable if the restaurant was busy at the time, but there were only 2 tables that time, ours and the other guest's. They also keep going back and forth at our tables serving 1 dish at our table then 1 dish at the other while not completing the order for the whole table.
Very disappointed and would not recommend coming here. The service is like this with two tables, imagine...
Read moreMy mushroom pasta tasted like plastic. It had hotdog-like pieces of leathery meat in it. I threw my food away. The foccasio bread accompanying the meal was super tiny and stale. My wife’s Satay Chicken was overspiced, had no distinct taste, and the portion was too small. She threw her meal away too. Out of Nowhere Kitchen is one of the worst eateries I have dined in. The food is overpriced, the pirtions are small, and the food is ghastly. Avoid...
