SOCSARGEN Grill & Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Tacloban

I lived in Tacloban for years but never got to try this place. So now that I’m back in town for a bit, I thought I’d give it a try and I was not disappointed at all!

All dishes we ordered tasted great — from the sinigang pampano, beef in oyster sauce, chopsuey, shrimp halabos down to the adobong pusit! My mom who happens to be a cook herself approved of everything that was placed on our table!

Only area for improvement would be the feel of the interiors. It’s kind of dated and drab, otherwise Socsargen Grill...

Just went here after reading good reviews. Asked what their best dish was they said the sizzling tuna steak. It was more expensive than all the others but I thought I'd try it.

Didn't like it at all. Can't put my finger on what the taste is, but it's just so overpowering. I ate it an hour okay and my mouth still tastes horrible!

Maybe their other things are better though. Not sure...

I was here every morning for the breakfast of the Rosvenil Hotel. It is a good breakfast buffet. With some different menu options. Everyday different. Not a lot different items, but enough. Most are filipino food. The tast was always good. Sometimes the warm food was to cold, what is the disadvantage of a buffet mostly. Friendly staff...
