When my friends and I visited, it was very rainy. Since the rain was so harsh, the tables outside were not advised to be occupied.
We were seated after a while since there were outgoing customers. The staff were accommodating but they weren't smiling that often.
The place was amazing! It feels cozy. The aesthetic is very rustic and warm. Very instragrammable if I may put it
We ordered the Caramel Machiatto (Hot and Iced), White Chocolate Latte, Hot Chocolate, Mango Shake, Sisig, and their Chocolate Chip Pancake.
Sisig - The serving size was big but I didn't like how there are a lot of onions, chilis, etc. It feels as though there are more of it than the meat. It was delicious though
Chocolate Chip Pancake - Very delicious! I couldn't get enough of it! I wanted to try almost all their pancakes because it looks so appetizing!
White Chocolate Latte, Mango Shake - Delicious!
Hot Chocolate - tastes like champorado in a cup! Very tasty!
Caramel Machiatto - We didn't like it that much. First, it lacked caffeine. Next, it tasted a bit watery for me. I tried stirring the drink to get hints of Caramel. There were a few to about none of it.
Prices of the food range from almost 300 to 1000+ (depending on the meal)
Overall, I would still...
Read moreHad a hearty lunch with the family. The ambiance was great with a picturesque view of a portion of the taal lake (volcano not seen). Enjoyed the cool breeze and the view while waiting for the food, served in around 20 minutes time. The serving size is quite big for the entreés so if you're a light eater or in a diet, 1 entrée is already good for sharing. We ordered baby back ribs (superb and the meat beautifully and smoothly separates from the bone), pork sisig, fried chicken, garden salad ( the mustard-honey vinaigrette was amazing and is perfectly citrus with a kick that complements the greens well), beef bulalo ( the meat is tender and the marrow is as savory and fatty as can be, although it is quite salty for my palate), Beek kare-kare (10/10, with a good nutty flavor with crunchy bits and is really good by itself without the krill paste/alamang), and the quaddro ?something? Pizza was also amazing. Sadly, Philly Cheese steak pizza was unavailable today.
They charge 10% service fee (Php 1200++, in our case), which is reasonable for the level of service rendered.
P.s. double check your receipts!! Philly Cheese steak pizza was charged to us even though it was not served due to unavailability. Good thing I checked the...
Read more5 stars all the way! My husband and I had our early dinner here for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was a great experience!
AMBIANCE: It was raining yesterday when we visited but that did not make the place any less beautiful. The place was well-decorated, clean, and true to its theme. It's a shame that we're not good in taking pictures and posing for photos because this place is Instagram-worthy as millenials call it.
SERVICE: We are the type of customers who ask a lot of questions about the dishes and the place most especially that we're first-time customers here. They were really nice, attentive, and accommodating!
FOOD: My husband was craving for a good piece of meat and he was really happy with their Roast Beef w/ mashed potato and buttered veggies and he liked all the components in his plate. We also ordered Shepherd's Pie and Grilled Liempo which were cooked to my liking. We had Caramel Machiatto and Frozen Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert. Great food from the serving size to the flavors. We weren't able to take food photos though. :'(
We'll definitely come...
