Team AA goes to Yaletown Cafe in Tagaytay (rainy late night ride and date night) ☕️🏍🌧🌃
🍽We ordered:
⭐️10/10 Salade César - Php 430 We love vegetable salads and their Salade César taste really good and fresh! Really great pair for pasta, pizza, or steaks!
⭐️8.5/10 Beef Cannelloni - Php 550 Good portion, for me it’s good for 2-3 people but of course that depends on the appetite. Taste really good but I hope they could add more mozarella or parmesan on top.
⭐️7/10 Tomate Rotie w/ Pesto Margherita We actually really look forward to ordering their Pepperoni Classico however it’s not available at that time so we ordered Pesto Margherita instead, it taste good tho especially if you love a LOT of tomatoes and herbs tastes in your pizza!
⭐️Blueberry Cheesecake - Php 225 Got surprise with how big their slice is, I thought it’ll be just a regular slice but NOPE they’re really generous with the portions and I like it! Just one thing is that I hope they lessen the sugar that’s mixed with the crushed crackers for the base, it’s kinda too sweet for me but worth the price tho. I think it’s good for 2 people as well!
⭐️ Hot Caramel Macchiato - Php 180 10/10 I LOVE COFFEE and it’s just a perfect match cause of the rainy weather that night.
Ambiance is amazing especially when we visited, it’s raining and cozy, music is great, not too many people which is great too for a date night, and last but not the least service and staffs are accommodating!
Just imagine the good food + cozy weather + good coffee + Tagaytay vibe = PERFECT DATE NIGHT INDEED! ✨
We are definitely coming back to try other food in their menu, you should try it too with your special someone or with the family! 🫶🏻
See you on TEAM AA’s next...
Read moreWe first tried Yaletown Cafe when we were looking for a cafe that’s open until past midnight in Tagaytay. I only order hot americano in cafes and my husband is the more adventurous one, so he got their signature coffee. We also ordered their tomato pesto pizza and a slice each of strawberry and caramel cakes. I loooved the pizza, but not so much the cakes.
The second time around, we tried their other menu items. We had Salad Cesar, Beef Canelloni Pasta, and Pork Ribs. I liked the salad but the toasted bread was so huge my gums hurt chewing on them. Loved the tomatoes and cheese on the pasta but the ground beef in the cannelloni could use some seasoning and the ribs’ sauce was a bit too sweet for me.
The staffs inside the counter weren’t as alert as I was hoping they would be. We love their manager (the guy in light blue) who was always attentive and thoughtful with the customers.
What we love most about the cafe is their relaxed ambiance that’s perfect for couple dates or family lunch/dinners.
All in all, coffee is so-so, food is hit or miss, but ambience...
Read moreThis cafe was definitely spot on. I like the concept of this place, and the price range justifies the quality of service, environment and food they provide.
Crabonara was delicious and did not lack in umami.
Yaletown burger was juicy and tender. Fries were crispy and well seasoned, it almost reminded me of McDonald's twister fries.
Cafe latte was beautifully crafted by the barista, beans weren't sour and milk was light to the taste.
Blueberry cheesecake was the highlight. It wasn't too sweet and the overall combination of the blueberry jam with it complimented the overall flavor of the dessert.
Caesar salad was what to be expected of it. Just the right amount of salt. Vegetables provided were fresh and crunchy.
Eggs benedict was just okay. Personally, it had a little too much of the mustard.
Place was also well ventilated, it might even be too cold inside. Washrooms were clean.
Staff were attentive, warm and welcoming
We shall come back here for...
