We are so disappointed in the service we received in Embrace Cafe, it's not a surprise that they hardly have any customers. We came there to relax and spend some time as a family. We had already eaten breakfast so we were planning to have a big family lunch here but we got so turned off with their customer service.
First of all, we were using their wifi because we were planning to hang out and eat a big lunch with them but after an hour or so they changed the wifi password or deleted the access just cuz we were using it.
Second, we came with our 2 kids who are still young. We have a 2 year old toddler and a 7 year old daughter who is autistic, and they know because I showed them her PWD card. Given my kids were a little excited and hyper because it's the first time in a while that we took them out, but we felt so scrutinized. They just kept calling our children out rudely as if it was such a hassle for us to be around and they kept trying to find things to call out on our kids.
It is such an unwelcoming atmosphere. You can feel their eyes just burning a hole on the back of your heads.
They even came around to start clearing our table as if they wanted us to go already even when we weren't done eating yet.
To put the nail in the coffin, they even had to audacity to try to pin blame on our autistic daughter that she broke a hard wooden chair that you would need a very strong force to break.
It was clear they were just trying to say stuff for us to go because our daughter didnt even go on the bench they were saying she broke.
It's such a disappointment because at first I was thinking of wanting to be a regular customer there.
My husband and I like to regularly go out and eat out and hang out and I was considering of being regulars with them but after the experience we had on our VERY FIRST VISIT. NEVER WILL WE EVER GO BACK THERE.
We Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND going here unless you want to feel scrutinized and unwelcomed and feel rushed to leave after ordering.
ALL SITUATIONS SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH GRACE AND GOOD AND PATIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Here they just make you feel like a pest that is unwelcome after ordering they want you to...
Read moreVery nice place and ambiance. The cafe is very spacious and has lots of reading materials anywhere. You can read a magazine or book while waiting for your order or while chilling.
They employ differently abled individuals which is a very nice advocacy. They have sign language guides to help us communicate with their deaf servers. Everything went smoothly with our order.
Only 4⭐️ because there were plenty of flies inside when we dined in so we weren’t able to enjoy the place and the food so much. Other than this, everything was great! Will definitely come back!
There is also a connected massage place to them - Hearts and Hands Blind massage. The place was neat and has a calming vibe. They have 3 therapists that day so you need to wait if there are lots of customers. The oil they used was very nice to the skin and has a very pleasant smell. The masseuse were also nice and kind, as well as the...
Read moreThey have differently-abled servers and yet the service was so smooth and great. The place is clean and picture-worthy - not crowded. The menu offers a variety of choices and the pastries were cheap yet delicious. Not to mention, it was all freshly-baked.
We opt for the silog ones which was around 170-200 per plate. We also ordered herbed potato wedges (4/5), pandesal (5/5), hot mocha (4/5), Iced macadamia coffee (4/5), muffin and milk donuts (5/5 THE BEST).
It was a really great timing since all the pastries were fresh out from the oven. The milk donuts were worth 15 Php only and yet it was so gooooood. I should've bought more for pasalubong. The pandesal was also great as it was a pack of 8 big ones for only 35 Php, sulit. They also have other pastries that are worth 10-35 Php each.
Coffee wasn't the strongest point of the resto, but all the meals and pastries were really good. Highly...
