As you reach the restaurant entrance, a parking attendant will assist you to safely enter their downhill parking slot with roof. Our family of 6 adults decided to sit at the upper deck of the restaurant. The view of taal volcano/lake is really mesmerizing. As in the previous, there is free bottomless batangas coffee and it just feels right that you get to calm yourself after a roadtrip coming from Manila. The waitress/ waiters were attentive and polite which actually reflects the Filipino warmth/ hospitable. We ordered bulalo or beef shank with soup, fried tawilis fish, pansit canton platter. The food at Eway's Grill is really great. The family was so happy, satisfied & delighted. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is just relaxed and very Filipino. The restaurant did not have fan because there is no need for it. Compared to Manila, the temperature in Tagaytay is about 5 degrees lower. Despite being al fresco dining and near the road, there was remarkably no visible flies present at the dining tables. On the downside, the restrooms may have to be improved in terms of amenities and functionality. Lastly, best if they will consider raising the roof a little higher to allow an even better appreciation of the volcano. Still, Eway's Grill is one of the best authentic Filipino family restaurant in Tagaytay in terms of location,...
Read moreMe and my classmates once eat here and we shall never come back here again.
as we check the menu if they have something we want (before ordering) the crew(Man) said to the other crew(lady) "they will check the price first if they can afford the menu" . What kind of man is this?
and when he's getting our other he didn't even go near us to take the other he is just standing far as I told him "This is our order" (Looking and waiting for him to go near so he can hear me and I can point him the dish in the menu) but he is just standing 3 meters away. so I just told him loud. is this a Service you want?.
one of our order is sizzling sisig he told me its pork sisig but I read the menu its sizzling sisig. so i just let it be what he wants.
then I when the food is serve, oh my! the food is cold. is this why he just call it pork sisig instead of sizzling sisig? how cold? let me describe.. the raw egg on top of the sisig didn't even cooked while my classmate mix it. imagine eating a raw egg and you are a girl! gross ..

Read moreAfter a day with the family at Sky Ranch, this was a great way to end the afternoon.
Everything about the restaurant was great. You can't beat the view: the semi-open-air restaurant gives a vista of Taal volcano and surrounding lake.
The food was excellent. My group of ten ordered "Set A 2" which includes:
Bulalo chopsuey pork kare kare (which came with a saucer of bagoong) crispy pork binagoonan sizzling sisig large pancit large platter of rice ice tea pitcher
We also ordered: inihaw na pusit bicol express
Everything was astounding and I have no complaints. The ice tea was much too sweet, but that's par for the course in restaurants.
The service is very nice and accommodating and answered all our questions. The food was brought to our table in about 20 minutes, which I think was reasonable considering the amount of food that ordered for our group. After we ate, they quickly packed up leftovers into neat foil packets.
This is a great place to grab a very tasty meal while admiring the the natural splendor of Tagaytay. Don't...
