Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Tagaytay

We came in to a very crowded thinking everyone is reserving seats and some going out because they were done eating. To my surprise, anyone would just come in and sit. No one to welcome guests and reserve seats. I was just lucky because I had an eye contact who appears to be one of the managers(male). He asked me what I needed so I just told him, "table for 8" and he went back at me asking me if it is OK to seat on 2 separate tables. Tables and chair were fixed for us. We waited for almost 15 minutes for our food to arrive and after we paid and all, we were waiting for the free SuperCard because we availed the 2018 promotion. After waiting and 3 follow up's, we were able to get the card and left. We were disappointed because the food for the said deal were not available such as mozzarella sticks and the bacon fusilli's(not sure about the complete name) because my sister recommended it. Since we are very hungry that time, we agreed to stay and get the usual pasta(red and white sauce) fries as the other starter(onion something) is also not available.

On a more positive note, I am impressed by the two lady OJT's. I failed to get their names but both of them were presentable(twinning braided hair style on black polo shirts) and literally accommodating to all our needs. very prompt and energetic. I'm very disappointed with my experience in this branch of shakey's. We've arrived at their store around 8 to 9pm Dec. 3. I thought their service was good they even offered me to use their supercard.

I ordered Pizza 1 manager's choice 1 pepperoni party size, 1 Carbonara Family Size, 1 Chicken and Mojos (5pcs) which cost me 2104.

The order took nearly an hour and the order we get is: 1 Pepperoni Pizza 1 another pizza which is obviously not a manager's choice and in thin crust which I clearly said no to thin crust.

1 Family size carbonara which is (Panis) when we opened it my wife smells it and taste it and she confirms it that the carbonara was spoiled.

Chicken and Fries instead of Mojos, and the fries that we got is obviously from the day before.

I came there as a take out customer; my children is hungry from our activity that day so I am in a hurry and did not noticed that they did not give me receipt for my order I was not able to return the food especially the carbonara which is straight to the bin when we opened it. This branch deserves 0 stars from what we've experienced. I hope other people can see this review and not dine in this branch...

Shakey’s never fails to satisfy our tummies and our hearts. It’s like our second home, offering a respite for those times when we just want to relax and want a good meal to cap a super busy day.

The skilletti is always cooked al dente with an ever so generous helping of Shakey’s signature meaty sauce.

No words can justify how we love their pizza, whatever flavor it’s in. Our favorite’s the thin crust cheesy spinach.

Soup isn’t Shakey’s strong suit but you can be sure it’s cooked with care.

The salad is always worth every fresh bite.

And, oh, the strawberry milkshake is always on demand but I equally love the alternative we were offered: strawberry sundae with chocolate syrup and cherry on top.

We recently visited their branch along Diversion Road in Batangas. They have a FunZone and an upright piano so kids can have some good diversion away from the gadget.
