Hello. Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting your restaurant - we took a sufficient number of dishes, and they were not bad - I have complaints about two dishes from your menu - "Grilled tuna salad", "pasta with shrimp". In the tuna salad, there is practically no tuna - there is a store-bought salad mix, lettuce, purple onion, and tuna about 30-40 grams on a large plate of salad, in fact, we ate grass with notes of tuna, in the pasta with shrimp, there were 4 shrimp on a large plate, no more and no less, but exactly 4 shrimp. Did you run out of shrimp in the Philippines?? And tuna costs as much as an airplane wing, so you put so little of it??? There are standards for serving dishes - For a standard 170 gram salad portion there are 50 grams of cooked tuna, for a 250 gram pasta portion there are 300 grams of raw shrimp (21/25) or as in your case 4 pieces, but there must be shrimp (16/20). Redo the calculation of serving ready-made dishes, they are not cheap with you, but in fact we ate a mountain of grass and a mountain of dough without tuna and shrimp. You can say that we are not in Europe and you have your own vision of how to serve dishes, but then make notes on the menu that these are signature dishes and then the guest will know that he is buying a pig in a poke, and not what he expects. But overall, not...
Read moreWe recently visited Italianni’s in McKinley for the very first time, and I must say, the entire experience was nothing short of beautiful. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only professional but also incredibly polite and attentive. Every team member we interacted with was genuinely kind, approachable, and went the extra mile to ensure we were having a wonderful time.
The food was absolutely amazing—rich in flavor, perfectly prepared, and served with such care that it made our first visit truly memorable. I’ve always been curious about Italian food, and this restaurant made me realize how delightful and comforting it can be. Because of Italianni’s, I now have a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine!
A special thanks to the staff for frequently checking in on us, asking how the food was, and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. It’s rare to find service this good, and it truly elevated our dining experience.
Thank you, Italianni’s McKinley, for making our first visit so special. We will...
Read moreFood was good but price came out expensive. The server "started us" with a Ceaser Salad which I assumed was free, because none of us ordered it, and I assumed it was like at East Side Marios where you get free salad and bread. But that salad was in fact not free, and cost something like 650 PHP + 10% service fee. Having known, there's no way I would pay that much for some leaves and parmesan.
Further, I saw Google Reviews mention they have pork ribs. So I was looking in the menu for ribs and I didn't't see it listed anywhere. Upon asking the server how much they cost, I never got a straight answer, only asked if I wanted half or full. The ribs alone came to 1,950 PHP + 10%.
I also wasn't aware there was already a 10% (or was it 12%) service fee added, so I added a tip as well.
So we ended up paying about 1,375 PHP per person, which by Western standards is not much for fine dining and I don't care about the total. It's just that I don't appreciate surprises when it comes to billing as it takes away my sovereignty when I...
