What makes me like their food is their unique side dishes that you dont find in mainstream Japanese restaurants. You might see the usual white and red pickled radish, but here you get a good amount of veggies. From bean sprouts to seaweed, that are slightly pickled and sweet that resets your palate, making the whole experience refreshing. Read moreThe ambiance and smell reminds me so much of Japan. They give generous servings for standard restaurant price. The food is good and the crew are proactively attending to their customers (without bidding, actually).
An old Japanese man (I think he is one of the owners) was making the dishes alongside his Filipino co-workers. I find this fact interesting and enjoyable.
I hate the crappy way the parking is built though. The parking space in front of the restaurants is so small while the bigger paid parking space needs a fair amount of walking. The restaurants in the area can be potentially losing clients...
