Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Bayani Road — Restaurant in Taguig

Takeout took an hour. Wrong pizza variant provided. Not much room for parking.

My brother and I thought getting a takeout would be so much faster than having a pizza delivered (which normally takes an hour) so we decided to drop by Shakey's Bayani Road since it's on our way home anyway.

When we got to Shakey's Bayani Road, the parking lot was full and another vehicle was already parked on the street. The security guard said we can park on the street as well. Considering we are just getting a takeout, it was not such a bad idea.

When we got in, the place was full and there were a handful of clients waiting to be seated as well as clients waiting for takeout.

From the time we got there up to the time the staff was able to punch our order, it took about 15 minutes and another 45 minutes to get our pizza.

It looks like they don't have a system in place to manage the takeout orders to lessen the wait time of their clients.

When we got home, we realized that not only was the pizza not well done, they sent us the wrong variant.

We have dined at this place for several times now, and food is as expected of Shakey's. This time though, our order was for take-out.

Pizza is good. Pasta is tasty. Fried chicken is cooked just right, with a serving of mojo potatoes. The accompanying dip was also good.

Only a few parking slots are available at the front, so either you are able to park, or you end up parking in front of someone else, which is a bother when you're in the middle of your meal and another vehicle needs to go before you. Otherwise, it was a good...
