Barako Cafe — Restaurant in Taytay

I had a disappointing experience at Barako Cafe in Taytay, Rizal. The customer service was incredibly poor, and the food was far from what we expected. We ordered seafood, but the serving was extremely limited — just 6 pieces of shrimp and 4 half crabs. To make matters worse, the seafood had an off taste, as if it had been frozen for too long.

Additionally, the rice serving was shocking. For a group of 6 people, they provided a very small portion of rice, which barely covered our needs. We were expecting much more given the number of people.

The service was also abysmal. We were left searching for water ourselves and had to go outside to look for a server, as no one was available inside the restaurant. It was extremely frustrating to feel neglected in a restaurant that should be providing a comfortable dining experience.

The upper deck is a perfect spot for conversations with friends—it’s private yet inviting. The indoor seating, on the other hand, is ideal for meetings or intimate celebrations, providing a peaceful and comfortable environment.

The menu is diverse, featuring everything from casual snacks to hearty meals and pica-pica options. And the coffee? Absolutely amazing—Barako at its finest! ☕ Prices are very reasonable, making it a great choice for any occasion.
