Kapetita Café — Restaurant in Taytay

i've been eyeing the café for quite some time and the first time we tried here was pretty impulsive. the café is open until 11 pm and i believe we arrived there around 10 pm and surprisingly, they still accept us for dine in.

what we tried:

🍃 iced matcha latte (4/5) i am a big fan of matcha and their matcha latte is quite good but i just wish there were fewer ice.

🥩 bapa ni alicia (5/5) beef tapa is one of my top favorites when it comes to silog meals!! their tapa is thinly sliced and a little crispy, with mango salsa, sunny side up egg, fried rice, and vinegar. i enjoyed this to bits!! as for the flavor of the tapa itself, it could be a little better if it's more flavorful.

🍚 pork belly bop — it's my bf's order and i don't eat pork so i didn't try this one but i believe he enjoyed it.

🍓 dalgona strawberry (4/5) my bf's drink order, i had a some sip of it and the coffee is definitely strong— not playing at all, but it was balanced with the strawberry syrup that goes perfectly when mixed.

will i go back? 100% hopefully, during morning or lunch time so appreciate their charming and eye-pleasing art...

This cafe actually serves good food at the same time of being aesthetically pleasing. There are a lot of cafes out there that have poor quality food despite the cafe being instagram worthy. Kapetita is breaking the stereotype because the food is so delicious. I just rated it 1 star less since I would've preferred the pasta I had to more on the saltier side(it was perfect if I didn't like salty foods). I will definitely come back and try all the other food on the menu.

I love this place because the staffs are very considerate to my son who was playing with Carson (not sure of the boy's name). They were running around and shouting I was already feeling embarrassed about my son's behavior but I didnt receive complain. Staffs and the owner are too kind. Apologies for other guests during our stay though! So when Carson and his Dad left, I sent my kid home and continued chilling with friends :)) but overall experience is so good! Food is great and ambiance is chill and homey. Thanks again for being kind and child...
