Absolutely fantastic place!! We finally have a quality restaurant that's nearby.
The food is awesome. My first visit which was on my own, I had Spaghetti Pesto (P485), Margherita Pizza (P425), and a glass of Iove Sangiovese & Merlot 2021 (P345). Got seated, the place is designed beautifully, it's very modern and calming, as well as the music. The kitchen is viewable through glass; staff is very accomodating. After about 3 minutes the pesto was already served... other restos would've taken 15 minutes for one dish to arrive. Tasted fresh, but the shrimps were a bit cold. Surprisingly after 2 bites the pizza was served, again the opposite of what I usually experience in other restos; The margherita looked and tasted so good. Loaded with tomatoes and cheese, it has that tang you expect. The dough was super tasty and I actually ended up eating the crust (yes, I'm a monster that usually doesn't eat those... it's that good). The service charge was also fair at around P90.
Second visit I brought my mom with me, we sat down and they lit a tiny candle for whatever reason. We had Fish and Chips (P385), Shrimp Caesar (P435), Spaghetti Bolognese (P465), Spaghetti Polpette Di Carne (P465), and the Margherita Pizza again (P425). The impressions from my first visit were still present, nothing has been lowered about the quality of anything, and the food still arrived lightning quick. The Fish and Chips are made of cream dory and not cod, but that was explicitly shown in the menu anyways. They're still very good--crispy, and the fish tasted delightful, and even better with the lemon and tartar sauce. The wavy chips also tasted great. The two spaghetti dishes are almost identical (while the price is), just that one is like a ragù (spaghetti alla bolognese) and one has the tomato sauce and meat separated as meatballs (spaghetti polpette di carne). The sauce for the spag bol starts meaty and ends tangy, while the spag meatballs are tangy all the way. Tasted great and it's extra saucy too. The Shrimp Caesar tasted very fresh. and the shrimp complements the salad very well. Yeah, no food was bad, presentation and taste-wise :p
This is our favourite place now! Everyone should get the chance to taste food that isn't half-a**ed, and at...
Read moreI love Italian food as the country of Italy is so rich in culture as expressed in food. La Casetta has delivered its fine representation of Italy. Its mango salad is to die for w filipino fusion. Risotto is served plenty. Its pizza may fall short of pizza sauce but I asked for extra spaghetti sauce for its my personal quirk to dip my pizza in an extra spaghetti sauce & I was given a marinara which is perfect. I was savoring the experience for it transported me back to Italy where I have been first with my mother then the second time with my husband. The culinary experience is unforgettable. The people warm as the bowl of risotto. Never seen anyone so talented for a waiters in Italy to be an actor, singer, cook & musician. This made the restaurants there not just for dining but an event of entertainment. Only in Italy. Its not enough to order one dish, but 2 or 3. Wine is a must. But I saw La Casetta has sangria so delicious to pair with italian food. We've been here 4 times, always met my satisfaction. The Zuppa di Gamberoni is to die for. Lasagna delicioso. The grilled salmon was flavorful w pesto sauce on side. We ordered bruchetta, a little salty but tempered with extra marinara sauce on side. The pepperoni pizza was very good, not greasy. The service here is impeccable from extra marinara sauce, to more hot water for the english teapot, they've remembered our hot water- liking before meals, & the waiter chased us to return my phone. Heartwarming to know there's a good Italian restaurant nearby. Highly...
Read moreThis is arguably the best restaurant in Antipolo! My husband brought me here for the first time for my birthday which was shortly after I moved to Antipolo. We have tried eating at various other restaurants in the city and nothing compares to this place. It can be hard for us to find a decent place to eat since neither of us are very familiar with the Filipino cuisine, especially my husband - who can be very picky with his food.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They've now moved to SM City Taytay which is more convenient for us since it's closer to our house. The only downside is that the space is a bit smaller than their old location and seats are limited. We've visited thrice so far at their new location and haven't had a problem getting seated. However hopefully they can expand in the near future as I project seeing them gain popularity and maybe we might have to start making reservations 2 days in advance to get a seat!
The food is always hot and delicious. They make the pizza from scratch right in front of you, and their salads and appetizers are wonderful. We have yet to try everything on the menu yet. But their pizzas, steaks, roast beef, fish and chips, salads, chicken wings, chicken fingers are beautiful culinary works of...
