Art Sushi by Kurkuma — Restaurant in Bydgoszcz

The sushi is amazing here, it is freshly made, tastes very good and is presented on the table as true art. Love it!

But, after visiting this place a few times, i also need to mention the following: -Soft drinks as coke, sprite etc are almost never available, while its available on the menu. Water and lemonade is all what the have. This should not be possible in any restaurant. -The menu card is old, very dirty and broken. It’s either ripped apart or but back together with tape. This really does not fit in this restaurant with great sushi. To the owner i would like to say, please replace the menu cards ASAP, as the current cards almost make you leave the restaurant. And make sure you always have soft drinks available! After that it’s definitely worth 5 stars instead of 3 :)

Bit suprised in both way. Service was very good. The food time was good to. Portions were very generous and the presentation was marvelous. I had bento with miso soup and for that price, I didnt expect this amount of food. It could serve 2 people.

There was flaws with the taste. Miso was big like a full bowl but it lack the deepth, wasbi was waterly and rice was cooked nicely but served cold and dry - it lack soul.

I would say that this is one of best experience I had, and food is something I would love to get again. Despite the flaws I was amazed. So being honest - you would get more that you think but it might not be your 100%...

Not a Japanese restaurant. It tastes very bad. They do not have Japanese rice at all, their so called miso soup is nothing like a Japanese soup. Only a very basic soup with few tofu pieces. Sushis are too big, there is no way you may eat an entire Sushi. How could they do good nigiri with their owful rice?
