Landschaft — Restaurant in Bydgoszcz

We chose this cafe during our trip through Poland because of the good reviews and therefore took a diversion. After we entered the cafe, the waitress quickly realised that we did not speak her language. When we asked for a menu, she just pointed at the wall silently and with a grimace. We hadn't noticed that the menu was displayed there. So we ordered two drinks. The coffee was visually very nicely arranged, tasty, but lukewarm. When I asked for sugar, she just pointed silently, annoyed, and with a roll of her eyes at the sugar, which I overlooked on the counter. Now that a second waitress was present, we made a second attempt to order a warm café, which was reasonably successful. At least she wasn't so dismissive. Dear waitress, if you have problems with foreign guests or you are just in a bad mood, it's not my fault. I am sure you understand English well. And if not, a smile sometimes says more than words.

The place is oldchool as Speciality Coffee local. Unfortuanetly is few issues there and main is the payment method. They accept only cash or Polish payment system called BLIK as British citizen I have no chance pay with my bank card and I won't handle cash in Poland because I don't meet to use it. It will be nice to have an alternative for payment. Won't guess where...
