Hako Sushi — Restaurant in Częstochowa

Unfortunately, our visit to this place left a very unpleasant impression due to the service. We came as a group of four — one of us speaks fluent Polish, having lived in Poland for many years — but the waitress pretended not to understand and insisted on speaking only English with us.

A particularly uncomfortable moment happened when one of us approached the fridge to have a look at the drink selection. Instead of calmly explaining, the waitress rudely pointed out that this is a restaurant and not self-service, even though we were only checking what drinks were available.

It was also quite stuffy inside, and although the weather outside was hot, the air conditioning wasn’t turned on. When we asked about it, we were told, "the door is open," which didn’t help at all.

The sushi itself was prepared quickly and tasted decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. It was especially upsetting because we were celebrating a birthday and had hoped for a pleasant lunch. In the end, due to the staff’s attitude, we placed a minimal order and decided not to stay long.

If you’re looking to enjoy your time and be in a good mood, I’d recommend choosing a different place. Perhaps locals are treated better here, but we were left with the clear impression that foreign guests are not...

Chose for early dinner today based on great reviews. Opted for Ramen with prawns and Ramen with duck. Waited for nearly one hour despite being only customers there, in the end we received the wrong order. Waitress refused to replace the order blaming us for giving her the wrong number from the menu when we never gave her a number, we gave her ingredients of the ramen. Instead of resolving the issue, she went on to gossip with her colleagues about our complaint loudly enough for us to hear 🙂. No manager came up to help resolve. Given how much time we already waited, we had no choice but to eat what we didn't order. Customer service is poor to say the least. Ramen soup with chicken which we didn't order was too sweet. Deep fried squid was a delight and as a starter set high expectations for the rest of the meal which unfortunately...

Not impressed. Expensive, mediocre and they charge 3pln for takeout. I got three rolls there. It took 35 minutes for carry out when I was the first person there. They didn’t offer the carry out menu that has deals and platters with a bunch of varieties but they put one in my carry out bag. Weird. Won’t ever go there again. Should have known better, we are too far from the sea to have good sushi. I guess it’s the best you can hope for but it’s not worth it. I really think the salmon was just lox from a local store. It was fishy and they used a bunch of cream cheese in most dishes. Not very authentic. Oh well you...
