La Bagatela — Restaurant in Gdansk

Visited on a Sunday at 9 in the morning. It wasn't too busy, surprising as it's one of the only places open around the area early. Only 5 minutes from the Railway Station - Gdańsk Wrzeszcz. The service was polite and the staff there looked happy. The food on show looked delicious. Menu had a small variety, not too much. So much so on leaving, even after being sooo full, I got a Croissant z Czekoladą. Which was huge and super tasty, and only 9zł. The only thing, and it didn't bother me too much, that I can say is negative, is my spoon was not cleaned properly, that came with the Latte Classico. Apart from that, the presentation of the food and drinks was beautiful, the food was sooooo tasty. The place was moderately warm, which was nice from being out in the cold. I think this the best breakfast buffet in entire Gdańsk Wrzeszcz. In fact this could be the only place which opens early morning in that area. Even Galeria Metropolia, have their food court on second floor closed and opens late at noon or later. It's ridiculous that around train station of Gdańsk Wrzszecz you can't eat breakfast because everything is closed or doesn't exist. That's why La Bagatela in Hotel Szydlowski is the best place you can eat for very reasonable price. La Bagatela offers a cafe, bakery, and breakfast/lunch menu all in one. They offer a great coffees, sandwiches and croissants. I especially recommend the onion soup and the cinnamon rolls – they're delicious! It's a great place to spend the day, whether you're working remotely or just relaxing with a book. The staff is friendly. Particular employee, Lady with short blonde hair was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The cakes are the only area where I feel there's room for improvement.
