Let's start off with a sense of humor. I would pay 35zł for 7 cheese&mash pierogi, if after cutting each one, among ideally spiced stuffing, I would find 3zł in every single pierogi on the plate. Unfortunately, there was no money, and no ideally spiced stuffing, and nobody's gonna tell me that I wasn't here and didn't try, because I came, I tried, and I regretted. To add salt to injury, there was no cold beer. Can't even crack a cold one with the boys here.
I tried the cabbage salad that was included with the meal. I'm not sure if this reflects badly on this restaurant, or good on cheap Chinese bars, but this salad tasted exactly like the one from my favorite cheap Chinese bar.
For a restaurant that aspires to be a bourgeoisie boomer spawner - which I've observed by noticing what kind of people dine here - with quite honestly bland and generic food with a price tag that will successfully and reliably prevent the target demographic from brushing shoulders with normal people, unfortunately the menu could not keep up with the exquisite chique and glamour of the venue. While the front of the menu has gold-colored curly letters spelling out "menu" on it, the inside of the menu is printed entirely in Comic Sans - a font more at home at a childrens' lemonade stand.
Inside the venue were flies. I've managed to kill one mid-air and photograph it for posterity.
In one of the corners of the main dining room, there is an exposed heating pipe along with heater controls. I hope it's safe. I wouldn't want anything to happen to the customers.
For a restaurant that tries to appear elite, distinguished, expensive, fancy, the building on the other hand is everything but - it's scrawled with hooligan grafitti.
The final testimony to the low level of this restaurant is the low customer volume. The main dining room has 38 seats, of which 25% were occupied. The second room had just about the same space and it was utterly empty. This gives us a grand total of 12.5% seat occupation in the venue. This low volume, let's be honest, speaks volumes of this...
Read moreA great place for the hungry traveler! My wife was in the mood for something traditional, and I wanted a Hawaiian pizza. Both of us were more than happy with our meals especially for the price.
There was at least one waitress who spoke English and helped us with the menu. It's a bit off the walking path for most visitors, but certainly...
I jeszcze raz dodam PANIERKA DO...
