Do Syta — Restaurant in Krakow

I am intrigued by this place. Sitting in a corner of a busy street, not far from city centre, at first sight, it looks like a café. It has some wooden chairs and tables near a tree on the sidewalk and passes a pleasant atmosphere that almost invites to come in. Inside it looks fresh with a fairly nice decoration. This is the first impression.

With a closer look, I immediately start to feel that I am in a typical polish restaurant. I can surely say that tables and floors around them are not properly cleaned after each meal from customers. I had bits of ketchup and other obvious hints that someone else sat there to enjoy a meal before me.

We ordered, and the waiting time was very acceptable. All good.

My biggest surprise was the food. It was simply magnificent. I risk to say it was the best grilled chicken I ever ate. My wife's pasta went straight to the top 3 she ever had, and judging by the plates of our children at the end of the meal (empty), their food was great too. My sincerest congratulations to whoever is in the kitchen, I am a BIG fan! :)

Its a very affordable restaurant, but if it had higher higiene standards in place(not that it is a complete mess), I wouldn't mind to pay 3 times...

I went on a trip to Poland. As a food critic, I don't brag about it, but I like visiting different places. I would give this restaurant an award for the quality of its products. Not a large restaurant, fresh products from regional producers. Importantly, I drank compote there, something traditional and not made everywhere. Here, the compote was cooked with fruit and it gave a super good wine taste. I ate their tenderloin in mushroom sauce. Just like when it's fresh fruit... Their cuisine is made of good quality biological and healthy products, the quality and freshness of potatoes and lettuce prove that they care about their style of cuisine. I congratulate you and...

Pasta with pumpkin and chicken stuffed with spinach were okay. Chicken tenders could use a bit more seasoning though. Overall it's a good option in this part of city, fresh ingredients for a reasonable price. Keep in mind that portions are a bit on the smaller side and the tea isn't top...
