Matt's — Restaurant in Krakow

The first time I ordered from Matt's I was very happy because the quality was very good and I thought that finally I found a good burger place.

How wrong I was.

In total I have ordered 4-5+ times, and every time it kept getting worse. It started by some sauces being paid for but missing, or being different than what ordered. But it got to the point that today's order was so bad that I have to write a negative review, which is something I very rarely do.

The food arrived totally cold. The burgers were cold, the fries were colder. And no, it's not the delivery persons fault as they got here on time (with no other stops in between). But it gets better: the fries were not from today. Maybe yesterday. And IF they were from today they were cooked like 10 hours ago. They were hard as rocks, totally inedible.

And ON TOP of all the above, they brought to me the wrong sauces, not the ones I ordered. Sorry, but if your food is cold, old, and even the sauces are wrong... then maybe you should start checking what you are doing wrong?

This was my last time I ever order from your store, I gave way too many...

First night we came was last Friday the blonde girl with the bag was absolutely amazing with service 🙌 Food was great even better than the burgers in northern ireland best food we have tasted in poland and we tried alot of places then booked reservation for 7pm to come on Saturday wasn't too happy on Saturday with service because the girl with brown hair was very abrupt and rude when we asked for our table to be a larger one instead of bar stool ones as we were gonna order alot of food she just replied no and walked away I then asked the other girl with coloured hair who said we could go into the garden and was very polite which we did and food was amazing 👏 maybe the brown haired one was just having a bad night but honestly the woman on friday night was amazing and is the reason we didnt give 1 less star for service and tiarmisu was to die for we bought 2 to go aswell ! Reccommened to other tourists ! Value for money and food was well worth it better than the ones we went...

I wish I could give this place more than five stars—it’s not just the best restaurant in Krakow, it’s the only place in Europe where I’ve found a cheesesteak that feels like home. As someone from the Philly area, I know cheesesteaks, and they somehow nailed it. The flavor, the meat, the balance—it was perfection. I’m thousands of miles from Philly, and they did the impossible.

And then...they changed the bread. Who thought that was a good idea? You had the perfect cheesesteak, and now it’s buried in way too much bread. It went from a Philly masterpiece to a loaf with some steak in it. You weren’t just close to greatness—you had it. Then you said, “Let’s see how much bread we can cram into this,” and ruined it. I went from the top order at the restaurant ordering 3 times a week, to never ordering it again.

It’s heartbreaking. This place was something rare and special. I hope they bring back the original bread, because I miss the magic. Don’t overthink it—you already...
