We recently dined at the Spanish cuisine restaurant in the AC Hotel Krakow, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the staff seemed inattentive, and we had to wait a while before being acknowledged. The service throughout dinner was average at best.
We ordered the paella, and it was the worst I've ever had. The rice was uncooked and drowned in tomato sauce, with a few pieces of seafood on top. The taste was far from enjoyable. The rest of the food was just average—nothing stood out—and considering the high prices, it felt like a poor value compared to other meals we've had in Poland.
On a positive note, the restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, making it a nice spot for drinks. However, I would recommend avoiding the...
Read moreTwo stars was given only because the staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful…but the food was awful. I’ve eaten all over Europe, Poland, Krakow, but this was arguably the worst. The Nachos were microwaved Doritos with store bought shredded cheese…added after the microwaving. Imagine stale, chewy chips and cold cheese, then mustard and mayo as a dipping sauce. I could not get more than a couple bites in before asking them for something else. I then ordered a recommended dish, the Lamb Hip Flank with Bulgar and Roasted Veg…also bad. Some of the dishes are needing a proper REDO of taste, for example: paella with seafood - horrible, not even standing next to paella and if the restaurant claims to be a spanish one then the chef shall go to some proper spanish cooking classes; fennel salad with burrata that has a heavey mayonesse dressing that completely does not fit the light fennel and melon salad, or the duck salad that is served with no duck:). The pastry chef knows his job and has to work hard to pays off his/her collegues sins. Let's see in some period of time if they know how to improve. So far...
