BAR MLECZNY ''POD ARKADAMI'' — Restaurant in Poznan

I recently visited Bar Mleczny "Pod Arkadami" in Poznan City Center, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. Having been a regular customer in the past and enjoying their good-tasting and affordable food, I had high expectations. However, after a four-year absence, I noticed a decline in both the ambiance and the quality of the food.

Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant felt dodgy. It was not as inviting or pleasant as it used to be. This change in atmosphere immediately set a negative tone for the entire dining experience.

Moving on to the food itself, all looked good, but I found that it tasted cheap and seemed to be made with lower-quality ingredients. This was a stark contrast to the tasty dishes I had enjoyed in the past. Additionally, I overheard the sound of microwaves ringing, which further added to the impression that the food was not freshly prepared.

Regrettably, my disappointment with the restaurant extended beyond the poor taste and quality of the food. Shortly after leaving the restaurant, my son experienced vomiting, presumably as a result of the meal. Personally, I also had an uncomfortable stomach for several hours and even felt a slight sensation of nausea.

On a positive note, I must mention that the lady at the cashier was very friendly and provided good customer service. However, this alone was not enough to compensate for the overall negative experience.

Considering the poor quality of the food, the decline in ambiance, and the negative physical reactions my family and I experienced, I can confidently say that I will not be returning to Bar Mleczny "Pod Arkadami" in the future. We had ordered the meat pierogi, ruski pierogi, and two types of salads, and the total bill came to around 50 zlotys.

Really good food! Came here to have early lunch as both my husband and I love Milk Bars and we were not disappointed. Good prices and quick service. The lady at the till was polite and nice. Good was really good and we left fully satisfied.

Nie mogę przestać się śmiać - to jest po prostu niesamowite, że można aż tak spierniczyć najprostsze z dań - ziemniaki i schabowe! Jestem pod wrażeniem, nigdy w życiu nie jadłam bardziej paskudnego jedzenia 🤣 Nie mam pojęcia co jest pod panierką przesiąkniętą starą fryturą, ale to nie wygląda i nie smakuje jak schab... Ziemniaki są absolutnie straszne, a kompot z jabłek tak okropny, że prawie udusiłam się ze śmiechu po pierwszym łyku. Co tu się dzieje? Czy to jakaś ukryta kamera? Czemu tu tak śmierdzi?
