This is my most favourite Italian restaurant in the world. I can't tell you enough about how visiting this place each time I come to Sopot brings me such joy. The food is stupid good, the service is always amazing. The Burrata is a recipe of the proprietor's wife's family and is unlike anything I've had. The pizza is amazing. Cocktails are amazing.
Each time I come to Sopot annually, this is my place to go no matter what. The staff are friendly and like most places, speak English well-enough to communicate effectively, despite my really poor Polish.
I had recently taken my spouse back to his hometown of Sopot and he remarked "why would we go to Poland and eat at an Italian restaurant?". After dinner there was no question.
I hope this place continues to operate as long as I am able to come here. It is truly a treasure to dine here and I am so grateful to the proprietor, his wife, and the staff for offering such a...
Read moreThis is NOT a bruschetta!
Don't get me wrong, the pizza in this place is great, authentic ingredients, highly recommended. But the starters are a joke... I ordered a bruschetta and got mini pizza with bruschetta inspired toppings. I got so full that I didn't finish my main pizza, which was nice and it makes me sad that I didn't get to finish it. A starter and in particular bruschetta is supposed to be light nibble to get you ready for the main, this one clearly missed the point. If you go there order just the drinks and the pizza, don't bother with the starters or the desserts (which didn't look much Italian either) as you'll experience disappointment. Don't get fooled by high ratings, they have a deal rewarding you with free prosecco once you've liked the page and rated the place. Do I recommend pizza there? Yes, absolutely, it's gorgeous. Only the...
Read moreThey were very busy and we were very patient. Ordered 2 cola and sparkling water. Took over half an hour for the drinks to arrive, and the sparkling water was hotter than room temperature. We had ordered 2 pizza and a glutenfree child's pasta. Was extra clear about the glutenfri. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes one of the chefs came to say that the glutenfri pasta was only maybe 90% glutenfri because the chef touches lots of gluten. How a professional chef can't make a glutenfree pasta, which was just glutenfree pasta and tomato sauce without contaminating it with gluten is beyond me. We left, and we're the 3rd table we saw to leave. We wasted a lot of time in there, and soon have to be at the ferry terminal. Now we are just eating McDonald's as that's all we...
