Browar Miejski Sopot — Restaurant in Sopot

I’d highly recommend a visit to Browar Miejski for anyone visiting Sopot for the day.

The Brewery is a stone’s throw away from the pier, located right on Sopot’s Main Street. We walked in, the place was busy but we were seated immediately, the service staff were friendly, quick and had great knowledge of the beer. Good wifi connection for anyone wanting a working lunch too.

We found it very difficult to decide what to have because the menu boasted such wide variety. Eventually we settled for the white sausage starter, pierogi with goose and Cabbage stuffed with beef and goose with a tomato sauce. All were cooked to perfection. I think the goose pierogi were the highlight for me, as pictured, I cleaned my plate, the sauce was delicious and the pierogi themselves were stuffed full of goose and the pastry was light and textured.

Absolutely atrocious service tonight. I've visited this place with my friends, was abruptedly informed by the waitress 'no food served' which we were ok with anyway. No introduction either. Then when I said 'good evening' I received 'I already said it!' shouted at me in reply. Very rude and unpleasant blonde waitress (I'm sorry she didn't introduce herself). Asked us when are we going to pay upon receiving an order, quite disrespectful approach, I had to reassure I have money to pay the bill....Waitress continued to be rude, carrying on with warning me this is the last call tonight if I want more beer. I felt insulted and disrespected by the waitress. At least the beer was nice. Although I like craft beer I will saddly never come back to this place due to this awful experience...
