This gem saved our holiday in Sopot on the last day of our vacation. After eating extremely overpriced deep fried fish near the beach and strange inconsistent European/Polish cuisine, we found this place when another traditional polish restaurant we were planning to visit was closed. And What a wonderful find it was. The food was excellent, the decor was intriguing, and our waiter Marcel was superb. The portions were huge for the price. I would have eaten here everyday if I could. This small cozy restaurant serves the best food I have had while visiting my in laws in Poland. The only thing better was my mother in laws home cooked meals and that is saying a lot. We had sour soup with veal sausage, fish in cream, pork knuckle and beef cheeks. They were perfectly cooked & delicious. Look up at the ceilings when you’re there, the artwork is burnt into the wood. Thank you Marcel for being the friendliest person and brightening our night after 3 weeks of traveling. He cheerfully described the menu, shared nuggets of info about the decor and chatted about the Euro matches in perfect English and polish. We will definitely come back. Please go visit, they deserve...
Read moreOur visit to this restaurant was highly disappointing. The waiter's rude and aggressive behavior was evident right from the beginning. After we sat down, he returned within 3 minutes, pressuring us to order drinks almost immediately. When we requested a few more minutes to decide on our order, he rolled his eyes and refused to leave until we ordered drinks. Moreover, the online menu did not accurately reflect the actual menu at the restaurant. The actual menu was considerably shorter, and the prices were higher than what we had anticipated. We decided to leave without ordering any food. While the decoration was praiseworthy, the service was abysmal, earning a 0-star rating. We also noticed that he was rude with another table of 5 guests refusing to help them with their bill in very...

Tbh if we would know that main dishes portions are SO BIG, we wouldn’t order appetisers 😂 My TATAR (mince raw beef with spices and add ons- typical polish appetiser) was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, perfectly done, with right amount of onion, gherkins and spices. that’s a true typical PROPER POLISH RESTAURANT WITH POLISH HOSPITALITY! Absolutely delighted with food, and the waitress called MONIKA, who was very helpful and nice to us. Interiors super rusticated, you feel like u turn back in time way is super atmospheric for your romantic meal ;) highly recommended for all people that wanna cherish stunning food with stunning size of your portion along 😉😁 definitely we will come back!
