Restauracja ENDI WINE HOUSE Sopot — Restaurant in Sopot

We came here in our anniversary and it was one of the worst culinary experiences we've had, anywhere. To start with, anything from the Spanish menu is not Spanish. We (I'm Spanish) don't have those dishes. I guess they are trying to cover too much. My fiancee discarded some dishes because she really can't stand onion and she made it very clear to the waitress, so finally decided for a steak, medium rare. When it came, the waitress said that they didn't have the usual sauce they use for the side dish, so they used the one they give with the nachos, which is very fine chopped tomatoes and onion... On top of that, the steak was not really rare and was so thick that the outside was quite dry. The waitress was really nice, to be fair, and not only apologized, but tried to make up for the mistakes by bringing some shots and a dessert: churros. Honestly, those are a disgrace. They don't taste like churros and the sauces are nothing like how we have them in Spain. It's not so hard to have plain melted chocolate :) The cherry on top was that they charged for 2 1/2 beers, when we ordered small ones, but it was not worth any fight. We just paid and left. We can't understand how it has 4.9, because it's not...

We had a fabulous dinner. Our server was outstanding. She had the best win and alcohol pairing recommendations, understood all the details of the food available, and was so helpful. She was amazing!

Loved the ambiance. The wildlife paintings, deep green velvet seating, plants and dark woods gave it a tiki bar feel but still upscale and comfortable. There was a live musician performing on an acoustic guitar that was excellent as well.

Our food was outstanding. We started with beef tartare and seafood soup. Both were well prepared, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. We were recommended to try a champagne-like bubbly that was delicious. Light and a perfect start to the meal. Our mains were the risotto and schnitzel. The schnitzel was so unique and delicious. A pork chop marinaded and then pan fried with panko. It was delicious. The meat was tender and a great flavor. It was paired with a summer potato salad with lots of dill and pickles. Not too heavy. For dessert we tried the limoncello brulee and pavlova....both so yummy. Love the raspberry pairing with each dessert. Just a pop of freshness.

Ciężko wystawić i ocenić lokal po dwóch wizytach… i to dzień po dniu. Zawitaliśmy tam w sobotę, stolik zaklepany dla 4 osób. Wszystko pięknie, cacy, kelnerka cudowna, przemiła, opowiadała o podanych daniach ( mogłyby tylko być cieplejsze) w tracie posiłku podeszła i zadała standardowe pytanie, czy wszystko nam pasuje. Jedzenie naprawdę smaczne, podane pięknie, drinki cudowne, wino wybrane po skosztowaniu. Był i pyszny deser. Wyszliśmy zachwyceni, z rezerwacją już dla 6 osób na kolejny dzień. I tego dnia juz nie było tak dobrze. W menu wyczytaliśmy, że od 6 osób doliczane jest 10% serwisu. Ups, powyżej 6 osób - ok, 10 osób, to standard… ale doliczony serwis dla 6 osób? Pierwszy raz się z tym spotkałam… Zamówiliśmy dania…. Kelner podał dwóm osobom, zniknął i pojawił sie po chwili z kolejnymi dla kolejnych dwóch osób i powtórzyło się to raz jeszcze. No ok… może jednak tego dnia serwis nas ominie? Dania podane, jedzone, a kelner już się nie pofatygował do nas by zapytać, czy wszystko nam pasuje…. Poprosiliśmy rachunek… na rachunku serwis 10% czyli kwota ok 70zl … i zapytaliśmy go za co? Co to był za serwis o takiej wartości? Usłyszeliśmy, że min za przygotowanie stolika 🙈 czyli dostawienie stolika do ławy! I nakrycie dla kolejnych dwóch osób, kucharz przygotowujący dla nas dania jednocześnie… Gdy rachunek wystawiony, rozliczony to głupio żądać zwrotu, ale nie omieszkaliśmy zwrócić Mu uwagi, że serwisu nie było, ze nie podszedł zapytać czy nam smakuje, czy wszystko w porządku? Podkreśliliśmy także to, że dzień wcześniej obsługa była cudowna, a tego dnia nie możemy powiedzieć tego samego. No lipa… jednak obsługa ma duże znaczenie. Zatem życzę wszystkim cudownych doznań, takich, jakich doświadczyliśmy tam pierwszego dnia. Brawo dla pani kelnerki! Natomiast serwis liczony dla 6...
