Unfortunately we had a very poor experience at this restaurant on our last day in Poland. There is a clear sign that says "Start here". As we stood there no one acknowledged us and the lady cooking eggs a few feet away from this sign was making every possible effort to keep her head down and not make eye contact. When we were finally able to get her to acknowledge is standing there for more than ten minutes she pointed to the register and said you start there. Of course this made us wonder why they have a "Start here" sign where there were menus to order. We stepped up to the register and the man there helped two other people before us. When we ordered he was noticeably irritated and was not friendly when taking our order. All he could tell us is that if we wanted eggs it would be an extra 10-15 minutes. Clearly he had not acknowledged that we had waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. Nontheless we were patient and agreed. As we sat waiting for our food we decided to get coffee from the counter right next to the food area. The lady was pleasant at first until I pulled out my change to pay. As if I did not know how to count polish money myself she asked to take the change from my hand to count it herself. After I sat down with my coffee we witnessed the same lady make a scene with a man who was trying to order coffee that did not speak English or Polish. She rolled her eyes, spoke loudly at him asking what exactly he wanted, and had half of the restaurant watching this unfold. There are simple ways to attempt to communicate with others that may not speak the same language or even speak at all. She demonstrated zero patience and made no attempts to use a menu, point at items, use cups to let him choose a size, etc. Somehow a decision was made and she slammed his change down on the counter rolling her eyes and grunting her frustration. How is this place even a business? Stay away unless you want to be talked down to, ignored, and made to feel as if you...

Well, so disappointing. Seeing this place on my way to the gate many times, finally I had a bit more time to try the food fefore my flight. The waitress recommended a salmon with potatoes and brocoli instead of a duck with apples. I have to say , half way through I already regret the choice as well as the choice of this place to have a meal before my flight. The food was nothing but bland. Dry salmon with no taste, saggy potatoes and cold, very watery brocoli. Nothing special and I bet you can cook it better at home. Not a restaurant quality for sure, even not a fast food quality. I gave 2 stars for the effort to make the food and deliver to the table, however I feel like it deserves only one star. The waitresses lacking in proper training. I should check the...

Outrageously expensive!!! I asked for grilled salmon with any gluten-free side dish (vegetables and cabbage salad), and they charged me the equivalent of 41 € !!!!!! They asked me which vegetables I wanted, I said, anything gluten-free , so they loaded my plate and charged me separately the full price for every kind of vegetable, covering the green beans with breadcrumbs so I could not eat most of the food on the plate. The waiter was not friendly. When I saw the price in euros that I had paid, I asked why so expensive and they answered : oh, we have to pay the rent, the airport is expensive! Seriously? I have been and many airports and never been treated like that. Horrible service, I was on a business trip and I felt as if I was in a seedy tourist...

I guess as far as airport standards go, this is an okay eatery. They style themselves as a restaurant offering traditional Polish food. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired, especially for this price. They are either bland or overcooked or both. The staff were doing their best to be prompt and efficient, but appeared to be overwhelmed by the number of customers. As a result, both of them appeared to be serving one customer at a time, which tended to complicate things. At any rate, this place is not worse than many other similar establishments at Warsaw Airport and certainly not more expensive than the others.

I am a frequent visitor and eating in Bijanka every time. The most food is nice, mainly traditional Polish food, the staff is friendly. Today I experienced by own eyes that the kitchen-maid emptied the used, soiled, contaminated trays (picture attached) and without any cleaning and desinfecting she put back them on a served desk to serve food for customers. With definitive no cleaning. This action prooved by own eyes really disappointed me and I am really considering to return to that restaurant in the future. The managenent and HCCP control needs to be reconsidered.

Avoid this tourist trap at all cost! Previous fast self-service turned into a "restaurant" with waiters. I orderred "pierogi" (Polish dumplings), my fareawell-to-Poland-dish. To my disapointment they were tasteless, frozen fectory made "pierogi"!!! Just look at the picture I took. Nothing evern closee toi hand made dumplings as I used to have in a neighbouring place that got closed lately. How disappointing, that BIJANKA claims to serve "real" Polish food. It is a shame and disgrace to Polish cuisine! The food absolutely does not justify the price either.
