The Flame Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Warsaw

Was dining with my son in between the flights, coming back from holiday… Unfortunately, our experience was very poor. There are a few thing I would like to mention.

Long waiting time for staff to place the order. No drinks offer on arrival. Had very greasy ribs and barely meat. Reported that to 2 members of staff after a few bites, with no reaction. Had to pay for it in full. No exchange offered. No replacement offered. Had to call staff every time I wanted to order something. (Totally NO UPSELLING). Staff asking guests, if they can take empties from the table 🤦‍♂️. Staff don’t write orders down that causes mistakes. (Very unprofessional). No floor manager controlling the restaurant…

With all the respect, I would never let those kind of under qualified staff work for me. Looks like they need a lot training, as everyone can take order and put it through. In this business, it is all about suggestive selling, NOT DELIVERING STUFF ORDERED BY GUESTS…

This is usually my go-to restaurant in Warsaw, but today I was turned off by the service I experienced. I came in and sat down at an empty table, and waited about 10 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgment from staff. I tried to make eye contact several times to ensure that someone had noticed me come in. When a waitress finally came over to my table, instead of apologizing, she said something to the effect of "Yes, yes, I see you, but you have to be patient." It was very rude and aggressive. I pointed out to her that I didn't mind waiting, but it would have been nice to receive a smile or some eye contact during this time. She argued with me, saying the restaurant was busy, then proceeded to ignore me for the rest of my time there (besides bringing the food and then later the bill). Truly poor service with OK food

The food was prepared before and then warmed up, so rather average - but the service is really bad, sorry. Somehow it was better before.

First there is a sign "wait to be seated" and no-one just comes even though there are 4 waiters and some are chatting.

Then when you seat yourself, you receive "why didn´t you wait" and then the personnel is simply ignoring you. It is really like showing that "do not care". And then they brought me the wrong table´s bill and just accidentally noticed before leaving and paying. Quite not nice feeling even for airport restaurant.

The food quality could be better as well when it claims a name of "restaurant". Like burgers could be cooked when ordered as well as chicken wings, not just warmed up...
