Atmosphere: I really like the ambiance here It is quite beautifully set up. Although if you look very closely at the ceiling you can see it is quite hard to clean with all the ornaments.
Service: Ah here we go....I don't fault my server, he was pretty on top of things, most of my attention during my dinner was drawn to the waitress who spent 90% of her time in the exact same spot playing on her phone. The kitchen would hit the bell.......and she wouldn't move. (I would like to point out it is quiet inside, anyone even from outside could hear this bell) finally the second time, I see an annoyed expression on her face and she finally does her job and gets the food for the other customers. After that she back to her spot. Touching her phone then hair, and then not washing her hands before handling utensils for customers. I took a picture, but I won't post it on here.
Food: I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala and a naan. When my server brought it to me he also handed me a lamb dish....I didn't order that! I think there was a communication error, I don't fault him for that, I think he thought I said tandoori lamb instead of naan. I understand it's hard dealing with foreigners. I notice my naan unfortunately is very thin and crispy....it's not supposed to be like this...I've been to a few places already in north eastern Europe and they seem to do with with all naan. It should be light and soft.
Now the chicken was very tender and cooked perfectly but the sauce was...all I tasted was the smokiness of the tandoori, no other flavours. There was no spiciness at all, even though on the menu there are 2 Chilis on it to symbolize it's spicy but it was mild as mild can be. It was disappointing. Visually it looked very pleasing, but it just lacked flavour. I don't know how other dishes are on the menu but I can't recommend the...
Read moreThis review is from a weekend earlier in the summer. We did not eat here. We (2 guests) took an outside table at lunch time. A female waitress saw us seated, as she was serving a table nearby. She visited the same table thrice to serve them their dishes. We waited, and continued waiting for over 20 minutes. In the meantime a group of 3 sat at a table next to us. A male staff member immediately acknowledged their presence by placing 3 menu cards on their table. Our table was right next to them. We were extremely disappointed with this complete lack of acknowledgement and unprofessional service. I went up to the male staff member and asked him why we weren't acknowledged, and then proceeded to leave the restaurant. He smiled, without a kind word or an offer to make up for this appalling service. We understand restaurants can be busy, but the least you can do is make eye contact, say hello and offer us a menu card in the order of the guests visiting.
Is that too much to expect? To the Management team : Your staff need better soft...
Read moreFantastic interior and exterior with a luxurious feel, highly comforting ambience and some very cool views. Very high standards of service and staff is very knowledgeable. Kitchen activities in full view with food crafted from scratch to absolute authenticity and intensely satisfying bite after bite. Brilliantly designed menu with Tapas like options. Couldn't choose a favourite as we tried most of the items from the menu with a group of 6 people they were all very delicious with well balanced flavours and perfectly presented to raise our appetite to the very peak, but I guess the spinach samosa, the fluffy flat bread (naans) the curried chicken and the Kulfi will be a long lasting memory and a reason to visit this place every single time we...
