I was very intrigued by the fact that the shawarma was for vegans and from Syria, so I paid a visit. Although the shop is small, there is a space set up at the front of the shop with about four tables for eating in. The staff at the restaurant were polite and friendly. We understood that the shawarma was made with meat substituted with soya meat. The sauce has a unique taste that can be a little unusual for shawarma if you are not used to it. They dared to use lettuce instead of cabbage, which gave a very good freshness and wateriness, but perhaps because of the watery nature of the lettuce, it was a pity that before the end of the meal, more and more water would fall out from underneath, making a mess. I thought the aluminium foil wrapping was seldom seen, and the way it was further covered with a paper bag was not necessarily a very smart move for this fresh, watery menu item. I wish we could have enjoyed this fresh and lush shawarma all the way through to the end through better packaging.
