During our stay at the hotel, we experienced a highly unpleasant incident. Overnight, our laptop, watch, and cash were stolen from our room, even though the door was closed. In the morning, we found only the laptop charger cord left on the table.
The hotel uses a key card system to open and close room doors, which we believed would provide additional security. Unfortunately, this did not prevent the theft.
As soon as we discovered the issue, we called the police and reported the incident to the hotel staff. Unfortunately, the staff’s response was indifferent and lacking in empathy. We were not granted access to the surveillance footage because, according to the staff, only one employee had access to it, and they were unavailable until the day we were scheduled to check out.
After filing a police report, we received an email from the hotel’s representative claiming that the door had allegedly been left unlocked and shifting the responsibility onto us. We want to emphasize that the door was closed, and such comments are both disappointing and unwarranted.
At this point, the police have conducted an investigation and identified the perpetrator. However, the court proceedings are being delayed due to repeated filings by the accused, causing further frustration.
We expected a more serious approach to guest safety from the hotel. In such situations, both a thorough internal investigation by the hotel and proactive measures to ensure guest security are crucial. Guest safety is a fundamental responsibility of the hospitality industry.
We are still awaiting a fair resolution to this incident. We believe the hotel should take greater responsibility for preventing such situations and for the actions...
Read more1 star for the air conditioner and 5 for the clean at rooms. it is beautiful hotel, but reception and bar area not so very clean, I think because of you made too small breafast area and people made a dirty everywhere until the reception, cause I saw your cleaners, they are cool, rooms very clean. But the room has nothing of the additional and important details: there is not even a telephone and no curtains, so, if you want to take a bath at the morning or day you should close blackout curtains and turn on a electricity or show your naked body to the residents of the house opposite. Strange and stupid. No glasses (just 2 from the paper, stop it, common, plastic is bad but paper from what?? from the trees). Plus - safe box. But the most problem it is air condition, more precisely, the general ventilation system-you have a temperature regulator at the room, but it is doesn't work at all. So when in Warsaw was 19C at the street, in your room was lower temperature I think. I felt cold all time, I had a problems with health because of it, I couldn't sleep normal - in was so cold. what the hostess said twice: sorry, but it is summer, we couldn't help you. Thanks. I spend more time at the street, than at the room, because at the street was warmer. Breakfast was not bad. Also I want to say about receptionists: yes, they polite but not sincere, you feel false, it is not good and for high level it is unacceptable, if your workers don't want to work with people - take another one. One of the good sides - it is check in and check out politic, even in the same hotel in Austria this politic...
Read moreThe hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was not only spacious but also beautifully decorated, and it provided a peaceful environment with minimal outside noise disturbance. The bed was very comfortable and generously sized, offering a good night's sleep. Good storage space for clothing was available, contributing to the room's convenience.
Although the air conditioning seemed to be inactive, it could have been intentional considering the season. Nonetheless, I didn't inquire about it at the reception. The TV, while of a good size, was not ideally positioned, making it difficult for someone lying on the opposite side of the bed to view comfortably.
The bathroom was good in terms of size and functionality, featuring a great shower and providing more amenities than expected. However, there is room for improvement in the quality of the body and hair soap provided.
The staff members were consistently friendly and readily available to assist when needed. In particular, Kinga, the bartender, stood out for her kindness and helpfulness. The bar area was spacious and boasted comfortable seating options, making it an enjoyable spot to unwind.
The internet service generally performed well, although there were occasional issues with automatic reconnection after disconnecting.
In terms of location, the hotel's proximity to central areas, including the bar district and restaurants, was convenient, with most attractions reachable within a 15-minute walk. Additionally, its closeness to the Powiśle area and the river added...
