=== Avoid at all costs ===
My wife found this place online and we went there. The photographs largely misrepresent the place, it is not as cozy, authentic and friendly as it might seem on the photos.
My impression is that the restaurant is a secondary business, while the main income source is the wine store on the ground floor. Hence the priorities - food and service quality are below my acceptable standard.
All the food was just usual, like everywhere else at a street stall, and probably precooked in advance, no trace of mutton where it should be.
The Napoleon cake (which must be baked 1 day in advance, to make it soak in in cream) was a piece of dry crust with cream smeared over it - this is an insult to the recipe. To explain if to a Polish visitor - it's like calling bigos a leaf of cabbage with a cube of shynka on it. I would not be surprised if the chef simply orders the dishes via Uber Eats and reheats them before serving.
The oven installed in the restaurant is for cosmetic purposes, not for cooking, makes me think many other things are an imitation too. There is nothing Georgian in the place, except the wine. No Georgian music, for example, which makes an impression that these people don't care about Georgia, the comfort of their guests, the atmosphere of the place, but are focused on something else which I don't need. Very different from other national or ethnic cafes and restaurants in Poland.
There is a storage room in the far corner of the restaurant, where they keep boxes of wine, so, some of their time the waiters do not serve the clients, but open this storage room, take carton wine boxes and carry them past the eating guests across the entire hall to the shop downstairs.
The waiters can speak, can take notes, they bring food and drinks, they don't beat guests, so it is safe to deal with them. They are polite and formal. And careless. I asked for a cup of tea, the waiter soon brought a big teapot made of cast iron, full of lukewarm tea. Some guy in the kitchen took a cold heavy iron teapot, placed a teabag inside and poured some boiling or hot water in it. The water immediately cooled down, and the tea became warm and tasteless. By the time our mistake was clear to me, so I did not even complain. People who don't heat plates, cups and teapots must be sweeping the streets of Warsaw, and not running a restaurant.

Read moreI’ve been here a few times and unfortunately can’t recommend it.
The atmosphere there is off as you are always greeted with a check in list, even if the restaurant is nearly empty. The service later isn’t great either. The food used to be decent but seems to be getting worse.
I ordered a takeout and wasn’t confirmed the price; on deliver I learned that kupdari and khachapuri now cost there like a good Italian pizza!! quality/taste wise, I wouldn’t recommend either as there was little cheese, and both my wife and me had a heartburn after kupdari. also, i ordered a classic Georgian plum sauce, and was told it’s included, but received some tomato sauce (tasty but still not what i ordered).
probably the last time...
