I visited this place without reading any reviews beforehand just because I was walking around and saw the cute interior with neon installations. They were almost full on a Wednesday evening, and I decided that it was a good sign. The staff was really nice! They were friendly, quick, and professional. Quick greeting at the entrance, good service, not a long wait for the bill, etc. The food was horrible. If you ever try a nice Cacio e Pepe pasta, please don't do it at Marcello. The texture of the pasta was good, but that's it. It was tasteless, lacked the intense smell and taste of cheese, and there was no harmony between all the ingredients. I decided to try to eliminate the aftertaste of the pasta by ordering dessert. Oh my goodness, it was a huge mistake. If you ever try a nice tiramisu, please don't order it here. It was a self-liquid mass with a taste of caramel (for heaven's sake, what!?) and wet dough at the bottom. I can imagine that some people might like it, but in this case, I have to warn your guests that it has nothing to do with classic tiramisu. And the last point from my side: There are also problems with the acoustics in the hall. interior is nice, the food was nothing special but the overall experience was not pleasant. Made a reservation for 6 for Sunday afternoon - place was not super busy but we waited for a very long time to be able to order. After ordering the waitress came back to inform one of the dishes we ordered was unavailable, so we asked about a few other pasta dishes (from the already few pasta options) although she was clueless about the other options in the end they were also not available. Overall, half of us got our food and by the time we were finishing, one person was still waiting for their dish. No communication from staff, no apologies for delays - at the end we informed the waitress we were not happy with how we were treated but she didn’t seem to care, was looking somewhere else during that conversation.
