MEATing Restaurant — Restaurant in Warsaw

The service was very good. We started off with appetisers that were really good. I really liked to cheese plate and the shrimp and chorizo was good as well. They also gave us bread with hummus that was very good. But for the main course I had a t-bone. Not very good. First time I’ve had steak that really didn’t taste like anything. I added a tone of salt but it couldn’t make up for the lack of flavour. It was also dry in the edges but really red in the inside. I was disappointed. They also didint ask me for a side so I had to ask for it after but that might be my own fault for not asking. My partner had another meat dish with shrimp. That one was saved by the sauce. The meat was dry and lacked flavour. Since the main course disappointed we didn’t bother to stay for dessert. The staff was really nice and the place looked really cool. Another restaurant visited as part of the restaurant week. Food was truly excellent: for starter we got deep fried and breaded squid plus goat cheese with pumpkin, nuts and beetroot (delicious). Beef could have been a bit softer, gnocchi with truffles on the other hand were absolutely amazing. Panna cotta was nice,vanilla ice-cream with pistacchio delicious. This is the best meat I've eaten in Poland since moving here from South Africa. Our server Joanna was absolutely amazing and was so nice and attentive. The not only was the restaraunt a vibe but the owner is definitely a girls girl because the bathroom is filled with everything you'll need for a date night from pads to dry shampoo. I will 100% come again.
